Quick update for all my 3607xxx people. Our vehicle is now status 152 (aka in paint shop). Im suprised, i called the 800# and didnt even have to speak with a rep to find it out. They automated voice told me it was in paint shop. I guess i can stop bugging the reps about the status of my car now

How do you ge the status #...is that through the owner's circle??
I'm 3577***...production started yesterday and is scheduled for completion May 3.
I'm East Coast, so I'm guessing that puts me in my baby on/about first week of June??

You could ask the representitive when you call the 800# for the actual statis of your vehicle (status # XXX) or theirs a sticky about it and you can look it up yourself. heres the link http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=9224

Another quick update for my 3607xxx gang, vehicle is on its way transfering to the port of exit. Soon we wont be able to track it with 800# anymore. ITS SOOO CLOSE I CAN FEEL IT!!!!!:rocks:

How long does it take for the dealer to get you your production number, once you buy the car?

I would flame you for not searching since its been covered NUMERIOUS times, but im happy that my car is finally done with production and leaving soon so ill help you out

Since your dealer didnt get you a production number right when you bought the car, that means he sold you a future allocation. It all depends on how many allocations your specific dealership gets and whos ahead of you on the list. Their is no set number of days for you to get a production number. Some get it as soon as they order the cars, others like me waited almost a month, ones that ordered the 335 just after it came out waited 2..3 months. So it all depends.

ok guys here's another noob question for ya. I ordered my car on March 17, still don't have a prod # but my SA says estimated week of production is 2nd week of May, I don't really believe him because he either doesn't have the prod# yet or trying to screw me somehow and just throws estimates at me...

but since the car is actually on order IF I call the 800# can they look it up by name or something like that or only by production number?

Only by VIN or Production number. You should definitely have a production number by now. Go to the dealer and straighten things out with them.

If your car was truly on order (which i dont think it is) then you should have gotten a production number way back already. Usually allocation are let out one month before the actual production. So if you had lets say May production, you should have had a production number by atleast April. AFAIK theirs no way to call the 800# to check if your car is truly on order. I think you should just talk to your SA and see whats really going on. My guess is then ran out of May allocations and he sold you a future allocation so you dont have a production number yet. Once the dealership has more allocations, then you will get your production number.

Yeah, as I thought, he kinda slipped when he said that they usually order more than they have, they are high volume dealership. I've been going easy on the guy but patience can get you so far, and I am very patient guy too.

I guess I'll push him a little bit harder when I get in contact with him.
Thanks guys.

SWEET! That means mine should be done and heading to the port tomorrow. It still sucks that you're a day ahead, but at least I can use that "east coast bias" and have it sooner :rocks: J/K. It's great that my 3607xxx brothers are all getting their cars about the same time! Of course since I'm doing PCD in June, I may still get it later than you.

You want to me to call my guy?

All you really need to do is find somebody with an upcoming production slot. From my VERY EXTENSIVE research, I know that Rallye is tapped out for a while.

I also know of 3 335 coupes, one still on the boat, 2 already at dealers, not spoken for. There are in:

-Baltimore
-Wilmington
-Illinois
