Nothing to report yet. I have ordered the cable for a reputable company out of china (cough) and I got the software image off a torrent site. I'm still waiting for the cable to come and ill check in when that happens. So far I've only spent $135CAD for the cord.

Got the cable yesterday. I didnt want to dive into this last night so I just snapped a few pics of the cord and plugged it in the the OBD connecter to make sure it fits. When you insert it into the OBD a red light comes on, signifying that it is connected.
Mounted the INPA program and installed it as well. The version I have isn't compatable with 64 bit windows 7 but I got a few of the programs working. Thinking about trying it on 7 but if not I'll use my crappy HP netbook which runs XP. When I got into my car this morning I had two error codes showing up. I havent looked them up in the manual yet but they are the 4x4! error and (!) error (both in yellow). Drove the car to work with the errors, shut the car off in the parkade and immediately restarted it.... no error codes. Weird. I searched some coding topics and I am going to go through them today and tomorrow just so Im not so green when I actually connect this thing to my car. I plan on getting into it on the weekend. Ill let everyone know how it goes (or how it doesn't). |

If anyone is following this here is a good link to all of the programs people are using for coding:
http://thepiratebay.org/torrent/4409...SS_CIP_TIS.rar I'm assuming the tough part is learning how to use them. |

Okay, I've installed LED's for my angel eyes and installed the daeos harness. Took my car to Eurotech who use Autologic, thinking that they could easily turn off the ugly halogen drl's and they cannot do it. They've tried everything but they come back on again the next time the car gets fired up. (2007 335i BTW).
I've come way too far, with way too much effort to have to settle having the disgustingly ugly halogen drl's messing up the look of my LED's. Are there still shops that can turn them off for me? Help please anyone! hehe |

They probably didn't realize it, but they actaully activated the DRL toggle switch through the BC stalk settings.
Coding will also do the trick. |
