And yes The season is basically over. Another month and the snow will start falling again

Car runs fine though so i am happy, changed as well injector 1-2-3 . The coding with autologic takes literally 5 minutes.. Got it for free

hybrid tune = AFR & Timing (basically stock/aggressive timing) via COBB's custom map with JB4 progressive boost on top based on meth flow sensor input

I ripped out my coolingmist flow sensor, been too unreliable since forever and just set my car up with the Aquamist flow sensor which is a hall effect/turbine based one which should be TONS more reliable...it has 3 different flow modes based on how you wire it up but so far looks promising..

Ran a few times last night at 18psi with this monster tune and the car's a fucking BEAST!!! Hopefully it holds together LOL

Good to hear that the tranny is working nicely Enrita! This may be next on my list if I decide to keep my car long term

I am starting to get really impressed about the transmission. Shifts are lightning fast and very consistent. I was driving quite active yesterday with a friend that also has a Stepstronic and he was amazed in how fast the car shifted. There is no loss in power whatsoever during the shifts.
Huge improvement from stock trans.

Good Stuff,

My Trans is getting built to hold the HPF... but im not sure who will be doing the build. As for now, they just told me they know a good company. Im sure ill know who soon once they decide on who to go through. I sugested Level 10.

Im just glad to see it can be done.

I believe we will see a descent amount of 10 second run's in the quarter if everything works out in the tranny upgrade department.

Looks great Enrita, almost DCT like swiftness. This is very positive news. Did you augment the tranny cooling as part of the upgrade?

5th picture down in first post- shows the old mechatronic seal adapter. The seal edges look wavy and I wonder if that could have been the root of the problem. I realize your clutches looked worn too, but slip initially caused by a leaking seal adapter might accelerate wear on the clutches. Just noting that this part is often mentioned as a point of failure in the 6HP19.

Member zigsman pointed me to this link- scroll down- and I found other forum posts on this subject: http://www.eastwesteuroauto.com/CommonRepairs2.html

I read somewhere that the whole car should be shipped to them to get the AT reflash? What is the difference in reflashing and not reflashing?

I doubt they can reflash the TCU.

Anyone running the level 10 and the Single Turbo from Shiv? I have RB Turbos now with FBOs and my 6AT and hasn't nuked it yet, but am getting bored with the 475 HP and am looking to cure my boredom. However, want to make sure I am doing necessary upgrades first. I don't love the idea of sending my vehicle across the country. Have others had a local shop do work with success? Anyone have success with a shop in Colorado with this upgrade?
