TMP (Cayuga) works only Wed, Fri, Sat, Sun. 2 more Wed to go and they shut down Wed nights for the winter, and then only weekends until end of October but those are always packed and if you get a single run you're lucky

One thing I forgot to mention is that the DRs were at 32psi that night...worked great actually with a good burnout but next time down to 22psi I guess, might work out even better...1.6 60'?

Yep, you will want to drop to 20-22psi especially that you have a hard launching MT. You want as much flex on the sidewall as possible to absorb that hard clutch drop and keep rubber on the road.

What drag radial are you running? Hoosiers are definitely the stickiest they just wear out like slicks.

Dont be afraid to drop the Mickeys down to 15-16 psi. I do it all the time and it hooks great. I 1.59 60ft consistently.

According to this 12psi seems to be the minimum tire pressure to run on the MT ET Street that I have...

http://www.mickeythompsontires.com/tech.php?bulletin=s3

I'll run 16psi next time, we'll see if it hooks better

Make sure its 16psi warm(I ran 14-15 warm in mine with the C5), if you have the ET Street radial then those are a little trickier to hook up with a manual trans. I had no problem pulling consistant low 1.5 60's with the Vette on a 26x11.5x17 ET street. I know its a different platform but those tires will hook with a manual trans car.

yep, i drive on them to the track so they'll be warm...how does 16psi in them affect top end stability?

I guess I wasn't thinking about you running a street tire up front. It can get a little squirrely with a street tire up front. Are you running the ET street or the ET street radial/drag radial? If you are running the drag radial it should be a little more stable.

I ran my Vette once with ET streets on the rear and 275 NT-05's on the front and it was all over the place at the top end of the 1/8th mile, approx 100mph with that car. Got some skinnies and it never happened again. Need to get CCW to make you guys a drag pack for the 335i haha.

Ah those will be a lot more stable at the top end. You should be fine at 16psi if you didn't notice any swaying before.

If you are worried just drop them a couple psi each run and monitor how it reacts. I don't see why these cars can easily see high 1.6 to low 1.7 60's.

Hey manual trans Vettes are tough as hell to launch as well, but you get that with most IRS cars.

Driver mod is definitely the most important mod that money can't buy.

Dzenno:
i just logged both Stage 2 plus (94 octane) and Stage 3 alpha (with meth) and seems Stage 2 is more aggressive?

Stage 2

Stage 3

Hopefully a stronger stage 3 will be out soon although they both pulled nicely.

No, but the timing curve shouldn't be impacted by the turbos.
