I was really tempted by the C63 AMG Coupé today... help!!!

I know I can't believe they don't. I would assume they will soon. The E550 coupe (or sedan) is one sweet ride IMO though....

I'm currently looking for something to replace my 335i coupe. Have driven the c63 and it has a badass exhaust note. Lookwise, the front is amazing and all else is ehhh, especially the interior. The interior is butt ugly however those seats in the c63 are to die for!!!

I have to ditch my 335i soon so I dunno what to get. Really, really love the current M3 but I don't want a car that will be replace so soon.

[edit] won't get the c63 as I did mercedes are losing their distinctive-ness IMO

Mercedes does not have an AMG package.
They call it a sports package, but all that it really changes that is noticeable is the wheel set. It is not like BMW's M Sport which drastically changes the car.

Nonetheless, it is a beautiful car (especially with pillar-less windows!) and they just added red interior to it this year!

Major turn off for me = the nav/iPod/radio/etc. system is nowhere near as great as iDrive

I feel you and I am with you on this. Is your 335i on a lease? Can you extend it for one year and wait or do you have to give it up like now?

I mean if you order a M3 now, think of it as potentially getting the last V8 M3. If money is not an issue, order a M3 now for a 3 year lease and then when the lease is up buy a new M3/M4 if you really want it or just pay out the dealership for the M3.

There is no E63 AMG coupe. There is an "AMG styling" package. But it is only cosmetics. Wheels, LED lighting, different bumpers, etc.

I can't understand why so many dog the interiors. The C class interior is just as good as a 3 series I think...if not better....especially the 2012.

I don't think Mercedes has lost it's distinctive-ness. The E-class is one beautiful sedan that stands out still.

And man....I think their Nav is better than i-drive...

Man....451 screaming HP.....and the cosmetics of AMG's are sweet...if I could afford one, I'd probably be driving one.....I don't know how anyone could NOT want one...

the only way 2 get a benz, in my book, is w/ amg... otherwise i could care less.

I mean do not like the interface and design aspect of the whole system. It is kind of dry to me and I do not like the jog wheel that is in the car (played around with it in my mom's s550). That's just me though and maybe it just takes time getting used to.

I love the C63, its probably the most fun I'd had in a car recently besides the GTR. The styling is great, and the exhaust note is probably the best out of any stock car under $75k. The only thing I didn't like was their in dash navigation, but you're really buying the car for the big v8 and 400+ hp so it shouldnt be a deal breaker.

I actually like the fact that it is long. It makes the car more classy and elegant imo.
I think the focus of this car is exactly elegance rather than sport, although it may have sporty aspects.
