thankyou, can the map be tailored to specific requirements.?
My experience of turbo remaps is just to whack the boost up to silly psi, creating horrid torque spikes which give massive mid range power, but which also make traction impossible in all the lower gears and spoil the o.e drive quality, and then what tends to happen is the power drops off at the top end way before the redline because the turbo cant maintain the requested boost at high revs. I would like to keep the o.e feel and the beautiful linear delivery, but just make it a little stronger, and i would like peak power to be either at, or very near to the redline, not some where between 5-6k and then dropping away. About 350 bhp fly ideally, i hear some quoting up to 370 bhp from just a remap but i don't want to push things to hard, i prefer to keep it nice and safe. Is all that possible p.s my apologies if this comes across a bit picky, you may well be the best bmw mappers in the world for all i know....but that's the point ...i don't know ! Thank you D |

We can do what you want ie lower power but as it is proven on this platform that 60-70 BHP is easily and safely obtainable I do not understand why you would want less. Of course we can do this but it would be a custom tune and not the same price as our standard tune. |

Nice graph........only reasons i asked for lower power is so the turbo's are still having an easy life and also because i dont want to compromise the standard cars amazing traction in the lower gears.
I have come from a high power front drive car and it was useless till 3rd gear, i want to be able to lay 1st and 2nd gear, and i dont know at what power level traction becomes an issue ?!?!? i appreciate you time to answer. Thankyou.. D |

Is there any discount for E90 post members?
What would be the price for a pre-LCI 330d Switch? |
