If guys are running 12.8's with a Procede, I could see 11's with an upgraded turbo/turbo's. Or maybe some spray??? We do have an NX kit we took off of her Cobra that would work as a donor kit to start with.
You have to wait for drive train upgrade are available, otherwise the first time you plant it with good traction you'll be on the side of the road.

Aint that the truth. No estimated time frame from Vishnu. I am used to companies that provide clear dates on deliverables to their customers. Most good compannies communicate better on these issues. We will all wait for the upgrade ... its a shame we can't get better information. Inexperience in the marketing and customer focus area is a weakness for them.

hey Shiv,

out of curiosity, what was the "hunch" that you had that paid off in reference to V2?

Shiv, I would think that now when there are so many new products (ICs, intakes, DPs, even turbo upgrades) coming to the market, it would be good for you to figure how V2 would be able to accommodate any combo of the upgrades. Also the launch control feature will be very very valuable with the increased power. As you said, it makes sense to do it properly the first time.

So take your time. For me the winter is coming in a couple of months so the power is of no use before April anyway. Make it a good product! Good luck with the development and don't let the people here to push you too much

When I rate the company I am working for so we 100% communicate the delivery scopes and dates, 98% we are ready in time, in quality and in budget and in the case we are not able to we communicate very early to our customers that we will not be ready or have a pricing issue. It's the way I am used to be treated and I treat others as well. The IT business unit has ~ 2.000 employees world-wide and I am responsible for a couple of them ...

Makes business more easy and professional.

It's just planning. And I expect we have projects with much more parallel tasks and milestones compared to Vishnu. BTW, the company makes good profit .

Cheers

Does anyone have a good grasp on what the MT and AT transmissions can hold? Not guesswork, but what hp has popped transmissions.

according to Shiv, he has tested his e92 to 450hp with no problems and he has a 6MT, (i believe).

I think people need to cut Shiv and his crew a bit of slack here. I think Shiv is communicating and that's why he is even on this forum and responding to all these posts and PMs. When was the last time Bill Gates did that or any other CEO? BTW he IS telling you it is NOT going to be ready right away. Okay no firm date but he's still working on it. Obviously the demand is there,...he WANTS to fulfill the SUPPLY part!! Besides, I RESPECT and APPLAUDE him for not putting out CRAP just to sell it. Haven't you ever thought that he WANTS to put these out quickly? What does he gain by pissing off people by NOT delivering a product. He can only sell more by providing something we all want (or in many cases NEED...like a crack addict..LOL). Have we not all waited for years before an "upgrade" in software from Microsoft or even a NEW BODY and ENGINE FROM BMW? or even waited 11 weeks for our car to be built when we were told it would be here in 5 because the demand was so high and supply was low for the E92/E93?

Lets just RELAX a bit. Enjoy your Procede 1.47 and wait till it's ready. You want a date?...Ask Shiv and my guess is he'll tell you before this time next year. So when he tells you its ready in 2 months or whatever you'll be happy that its ahead of schedule.

Just my .02!..Rant is over.

^ Some finetuning to the above...
He is not responding to "all these posts".
V2 beta that is out there is far from "crap".
It is not in his best interest to "put these out quickly".
He can sell more Procedes just by having announced the V2. People in the forum are spreading the positive word of mouth for having this option and suggesting everyone to buy the Procede asap before V2 is out, because the price will increase afterwards.
In his situation, it does not make sense to provide an exact date. He has clearly figured that. People will wait.
All the above happens to suit me just fine, since I have excellent winter tires for the ice and snow, but I were not able to put down even the stock power last winter, so even V1 is more than enough for the winter season.
