All I wanted was for them to install it period.

I would have dynoed it my self and posted all the numbers/graphs on the forum.

Now there is something interesting that I just learned over the weekend. I talked a guy over the weekend who says he has the UR downpipes installed, UR Exhaust system and the AA XEDE. He says he had AA custom tune it for him for maximum performance and that he's after dynoing his car he got 374 HP and 400+ tq. Interesting numbers.

Weird why UR would say they don't have any dynos as that was their shop car for the downpipes testing.?? (that's what the guy said)

fyi -- that guy you're referring to doesn't run any faster than a PROcede 335i w/ stock exhaust and stock DPs. His recent runs at the local track net slower times than other PROcede 335i's (w/o exhaust and DPs) at the same track (different night though)...but in his defense, he has a 6MT (more difficult to launch than a 6AT) and it was his first time at the track with his 335i. I'm going to going to run with him in ~ 2 months when the weather cools off. It will be interesting to see how a PROcede v2.0 does against a custom-tuned AA XEDE 335i with exhaust and DPs.

sflgator,

I guess we're talking about two different guys, I'm in Toronto and the guy I was talking about has an all white Step e93.

He says he doesn't take his car to the track so I have no idea what he runs, I'd love to give him a run for his money

I did 13 flat at the 1/4 track with stock 17" tires on PROCede so he'd have a hard time pulling away from me.

Yeah, you're right; the guy I'm talking about is in my neck of the woods, but he has a similar setup as you've described...custom-tuned AA XEDE, UR DPs, Eisenmann SR pipes, Magnaflow mufflers, 19" wheels/Mich. PS2 tires. He ran 13.1x-13.2x sec. @ our local track this past weekend, while I ran 13.097 sec. at the same track back in June (at the time, I had PROcede v1.40 and 19" M6 Reps/Mich. PS2 tires...everything else stock).

We're going to run together in a couple months though...should be a lot of fun! :rocks:

I think you are correct about the launching. You need experience and traction to get good numbers. I saw his numbers also and his 60 foots were pretty bad. Now if he had reallyt good launches then it would be fair to compare.

I agree; that's why he's coming with me (and a few other ppl) to the track again in a couple months when he weather cools off. I'll have PROcede v2.0 and my 20lb. Morr VS7 wheels, while he has his highly-modded setup (custom-tuned AA XEDE, UR DPs, Eisenmann SR pipes, Magnaflow mufflers, 19" wheels/Mich. PS2 tires). I think he should definitely be running in the mid-upper 12's with some better 60ft. times, and based upon my first time at the track this past June (w/ PROcede v1.40), I'm hoping to run in the mid-upper 12's as well!

We're going to have some serious fun!!!! :rocks:

I am a bit late this this party...but...I ran my 335i with the Procede V1.47 for a month and then added the U.R. catted DPs and there is NO QUESTION that the car spools faster and makes more power everywhere!. No codes in the 500 miles since the DPs were installed.

I am a happy customer

I won't dissagree with you that it sppols faster, but is there really more power or is it in your head?

Fair question. After fifteen years and over 30 modified cars later I have a very good butt-dyno. My car is faster with with the addition of the U.R. DPs, no question. Traction in 1st gear is much worse now

+1... would the SSTT also be affected in the same way as Procede + DP's without a custom tune (e.g. little or no gain in power)?

Or would the SSTT + DP's have similar gains to stock + DP's (e.g 20-30+hp and 30-40+tq)?
