Just heard from my CA. I'm due to pick up the car next Wed, the 12th. He said that VPC in NY/NJ has the car now and will process the car in 2-3 days, so it should show up at the dealership on Mon, the 10th. Now, I just have to pay for the thing...

Courage is still in the Baltimore harbor and it was supposed to be out of there yesterday. I hope this doesn't delay getting to Charleston.

Hm... I guess I'm on crack. I could swear that it said 5/12/2007 for the departure date but I must have misread. All this waiting and forum reading is making my vision go!

On a more positive note, the W&W website says that the ship has left the port. So I'm sure it'll be underway soon.

edit: Ok, I'm not crazy. Just copied this from the W&W schedule...
BALTIMORE, MD U.S.A. 05/12/2007 05/12/2007

The original schedule I have posted here at my desk that I printed out last month does have 6/12/2007 listed as the departure date though.

She's been chilling in that spot all morning. Maybe holding for release by whomever controls the harbor?

Looks like she's finally on the move heading to Charleston. Hopefully they'll still make it by Saturday. Not like it matters though because I'm sure they won't start to unload until Monday anyway...

I've been guessing the week before Christmas all along and it seems like that might hold up.

edit: That guess being for cars that go through the Charleston VPC. If you went through NJ I would think next week.

I've already left a message for my CA about picking it up and having them install my winter tires for me. I was hoping to pick it up by the 15th because I will not be around the following week and might not be able to pick it up till after Christmas depending on the dealerships holiday hours. Still haven't heard back from him. I know having a 7 day turnaround from the port to Chicago is a huge stretch, but I'm looking for my Christmas miracle.

My CA is estimating next week (NJ) as well but there's no way to confirm at this point.
