Ben's House - 2.5 car garage, 4 car drive way, street parking for the rest. Appx 1 hr away from downtown in the southwest burbs (Plainfield)

Jay's House - 2 (or 3?) car garage, driveway, cul-du-sac that can be "blocked off" for more space. Appx 1.25hrs west of downtown on I-90 in Huntley (lots of outlet malls nearby :thumpup:. Lots of space in his huge empty house and he has a king sized bed for snuggle time.

Seth's House - NO garage space (sorry its packed with boxes), Long driveway that could accommodate about 7 maybe even 8 cars and then there always room for a few more in front of the house on the street. Appx 20min from Downtown in the north burb of Glenview (lots of good restaurants/bars nearby in "The Glen"). Also about 10 min south of Fall Line Motorsports if we wanted to go by there for part of the meet or if someone wanted to get an install done there. My house is kinda small but its also basically empty (just some "staged" furniture and stuff) since its on the market right now.

Not sure if Alex was also considering offering up his place in Buffalo Grove but thats about a 35 min drive from downtown.

Lets get a vote going.

i have room for as many people that want to stay. i have a spare bedroom (no furniture so bring sleeping bags) as well as one couch and tons and tons of floor space.

and i'm only 40 min away from the photoshoot location, i went and tested it out last week

I vote Ben's just because it is a shorter drive for me. That being said, I will go wherever. If your house is on the market Seth I am not sure I would feel super comfortable trashing it.

Yeah but don't want to spend a boat load. Been looking at the Rebel Xti and/or Rebel Xsi. Not sure. Seems like a decent starter slr. But, also $400-$600.

get an XTi on Amazon/eBay with the kit lens... same thing I told Paul

if so, I guess my house would be out for sure. I was thinking if we did my house it'd be a good amount of outdoor space for the cars, its close to downtown and its close to some good food/bars so we could DIY till like 7 then go get dinner and a few drinks then just part ways there.

Paul, if you're coming from out of town anyway were you planning on staying at someones house or getting a hotel room for the weekend?

Yeah, that is where I have been looking. That is why I was looking at those, you told me this a while back. Trying to see if the difference in price between the XTi and XSi is worth it. Probably not for what I want to do. But, maybe I should just go with a smaller one since I won't be taking that many pics? Damn, why is everything so hard?

na, don't waste your $ on the XSi cuz 99.9% chance you'll never use the upgraded features (which is basically a bigger LCD screen by .5 inches and higher megapixels for making HUGE ass poster sized prints).

If you get the XTi or hell, even an older XT you'll be fine and maybe you'd have enough to get 2 lenses which is where the fun starts.
