Don't they bundle the JB3 with the bav tech tool now? So you can clear the codes you throw? There's also no 'safety features' (for whatever that's worth on a tune that cranks boost beyond the tiny turbo's efficiency window).

I'd say PROcede...just because you have the ability to upgrade easily (with your laptop) for free, clear codes, and there's constantly new stuff coming out. Looking back, now I wish I wouldn't have sold mine. It's improved a bunch since this summer.

nasty trim in that car. i can't wait to send mine in and get it wrapped in carbon fiber cloth like the M, that's my next mod.

Also not a fan of the trim. Wood trim belongs in a Lexus.

Never been a fan of wood in a 3 series, although, that dark gray poplar is pretty cool with the right colors.

We all took points off for the auto. But tragically I think Scott, Newb, and I are the only ones left who would choose a manual..

Yes Dave, you've got the right combo.

Due to the flash, the picture in that thread makes the wood look way worse than it really is.
