Yea it's a pretty Catholic area...there was a big apple bagel which was decent but they went out of business...probably on account of all these gentiles

So I'm curious if anyone knows of any good driving roads IN THE CITY (Up north at Foster to down south of The Loop by Chinatown and West to Kedzie).

At this point, all I know is the Montrose-Foster area where the AYSO soccer fields and the big sledding hill are. I used to powerslide in my 535 wagon in the snow in the skate park parking lot. There's also Stockton and Cannon Drive in Lincoln Park, but those are short and narrow, too blind with too many buses doing whateverthef*ck they please, too many kids, too many potholes, and too many cops.
Any suggestions, anyone?

I always have fun cruising LSD just for the novelty of it...as for actually good driving roads in the city I have no idea. I like the curves on Sheridan near Tower Rd. and there are a few gems out here in Barrington...otherwise can't help you

I just can't imagine why there isn't a place where I can just go at it without worrying about tickets or potholes or other people as much. I've tried the Ravines in Glencoe/Kenilworth, but those are short and approximately one accident occurs there every hour, with all the mommies and the teen girlies talking on their cell phones in their Range Rovers (don't tell anyone, I secretly want one).

Bateman Road in Barrington between Lake-Cook and Dundee is good for some higher speed sweepers and switchbacks...the turns are not as concentrated though. The traffic is often nil, but the speed limit is 35 (it's 30 on Sheridan right?) Can't say I've ever seen a cop there but driving on double supervision I've been taking it easy
