Hey there is a discussion going on in another forum regarding tunes & piggy's. As far as I knew, throwing a piggy on top of a tune was pointless. But they are saying otherwise. What is the truth and what is fiction?

That's what I thought. I would think that:

a. The tune would override the piggy.
b. The piggy would override the tune.
c. Neither was meant to work with each other.
d. All of the above is bad for your car.

One guy claims to be running JB+ on top of GIAC for years with great increases and results with out issues.

here is my philosophy. (custom ecu tunes / flashes) are optimized for the best vehicle performance considering the mods. Your car will not like that. Its going to take the signal from the tune and and try to change it more. NOT recommended. Its like someone says you can fuck a horse. He's been doing it for years and it feels amazing but that doesn't mean you want to do it.

Taking a solid ecu tune and throwing a piggy on top of it that was designed specifically to be a "Go Baby Go" button on that particular flash; that's ok. But to stack them in a fashion where each was developed solo, that's a horrible idea IMO.
