Sorry boner.
But I'll tell ya what I broke up with my g/f in college and it was a great decision. She was fun and everything but to keep my mind off her I hung out with some new kids on my dorm floor and we became great friends so maybe something will come of it........ Like a 46k Porsche 4s

Hey guys, do any of you have the Rixster's gauge by any chance? I'm thinking about picking it up, but not sure what some of the dealers in Chicagoland area are going to think if I have one installed and try to bring it in for service. btw, I got a JB3 and the thing is bad ass. I would get the gauge as long as I know that I'm not going to hear crap from a dealer.

I don't think they will care or notice so long as it's installed properly. I was thinking of getting one but I can't justify 300 on somethin that doesn't increase hp or looks

I agree for the most part. i'm not one for flashy upgrades. I do think it's necessary from the perspective that I want to make sure that I'm not boost leaking. It may not increase hp, but it will tell me if I'm losing some do to a leak. Especially if I start doing mods that could effect psi like throwing in an intercooler. Plus it's nice to know what the psi is for stock and say map 5.

I'm probably going to pick it up. If push comes to shove I can revert it back in short time to bring in for service. Right now being so stock looking no dealer is going to think I have a JB3 in the ecu bay if I put it on map 0 and wipe any tuner codes. If I'm adding mods then suspicion levels will rise and dealers might go snooping. I'll post up some pics once I get it in January.

That is basically what I'm getting to. Who would you guys go to for mod friendly dealers. I understand the whole, "If my mod blows up the car then its my fault" deal, but I don't want a dealer saying the reason why my HPFP crapped out was because a boost gauge. See what I'm getting at?

Cool, I'm going to keep it in mind. i just ordered the Rixster boost gauge to go with my JB3. Can't wait to get the thing. the pic below sold it for me. it's just so non intrusive.
