Just finished wrapping the trim (matte black) and put on a new shift knob.

Just need an M wheel and I am done. At least for a bit.

That matt black looks really nice. My car had the silver but I swapped out for the dark wood style.

Got rid of my front axles today. At least for now. Eventually if I do plan to move somewhere I need xdrive I will put my front driveshaft back on and buy a new passenger side axle but as of now it's better and has noticeably less rolling resistance

Picked it up after 4 days at the dealership for headlight replacement. My driver headlight was pointed too low and could not be adjusted. Apparently this is pretty common but I didn't have to investigate and repair myself.

SA came through for me and got the 3rd party warranty company to approve the replacement. Now its better but still not as bright as I would have hoped. Looking for better D1S bulbs.

Are you using Formic acid to seal all your disas? If so what percent strength?

I've got 85% but even after 12 hours of curing, after pulling on it for 30 seconds with 1 nail I can manage to crack em open

95% is the minimum you want to use. This is what Will has. I've also learned that the plastic needs to be completely free of absolutely anything before and after you apply.

What I mean by this is I cracked my case open with a small flathead screwdriver as a pick. Leftover lubricant I used (ahem, engine oil from when it got flooded) managed to seep through those little marks and ruin the bonding process with the acid. This was only on the small disa, the large one sealed fine

Damn it lol. North of the border I can only source 85%. Anything higher doesn't exist(unless I want to buy 25L of it).

Ya I got it clean and dry, put a nice layer on 1 side and clamped it overnight.

I have a few spare small ones I've cleaned out to make them work just like new but this is the last step.

Damn that's unfortunate lol, this is the link I used for the acid. Shortly after the project I gave it to Will, he'll use it way more than I would have 😂

I did two thick layers on either side and it worked, aside from the small disa issue

Went a record 4 weeks without a check engine light. This was one week after catless dps, inlets and atm exhaust install.

Now just time to reset adaptations and figure out whether I need a new primary or secondary o2.
