I tried Koni yellows and Eibach Pros to start with which gave a nice drop and a very, very comfortable ride compared with standard M-sport, but they were actually too soft for my preference as the Eibach spring rates are the same as standard, 145/450. I still have them actually, been meaning to sell them, only 1000miles from new. |

I did follow your thread before according the ohlins, would really like a set of them, just cannot stretch out that far just yet. I do want something which improves handling, dont mind if its keeping or little worse than the m sport in terms of comfort, as there are pot holes everywhere in the country. I will send you a PM regarding your springs, or if you happen still have the koni yellows as well ? Cheers Sam |

I like a firm ride and expect the B6-10 10 adjustments can give me that. Otherwise I consider go the full monty with a set of Bilstein B16 instead.

Unfortunately I do not have much info on the wheel and tire specs. Lots of custom bodywork has to be done though, so I'm sure a project like that is time consuming and expensive. I'm guessing it's 19x9.5 ET22/19x10 ET25, but not 100% on it.

There is a brand called AP, I think they are related to KW as well in some way. They are about 500 pounds a set, and around 700gbp ish for a set of dampening adjustable one (APX) I used to have the weitec on the mk4 golf, they are pretty good. The price of weitec these day are very close to a set of Bilstein B14! their prices are pretty good, see clicky http://www.motorsportworld.co.uk/ |
