Hey I just did the same thing this weekend! Only difference was my adapters were from Seems Legit Garage and I used akebono ceramic pads. Can confirm that the pads have a bit less initial bite than the m-sport pads, but will happily trade that for low dust.

Thank you for the kind words! I’m on Bilstein B14, great coilover especially for our garbage roads in Toronto Ontario.

I would've went with SLG if I knew they made F3X-F8X adapters as well. For some reason I thought they only did adapters for E8X-F8X and E9X-F8X. Kern's adapters were easy to install at least at the front, not sure at the back. Will have to find out next week when I do the rears. As for my pads they bite noticeably less but not by much. I drove all day yesterday and there's minimal dust yet perform just as good as OEM. OEM pads would've wrecked the gold on my wheels by the end of the day

Added apple CarPlay/Android Auto MMI and installation was a breeze. This was the last step of my 6.5 inch to 8.8 inch apple CarPlay retro fit project. Thanks to everyone on these boards for all the help. Y’all always make my life easier.

This part number is written: 51 16 2 471 107

I found the mirror on the official BMW parts page.
https://www.schmiedmann.com/en/produ...1-16-2-471-107

Here is a document:
https://media.schmiedmann.com/media/...1162471107.PDF

I found this part in it:
The following error entries are saved during the retrofit work and can be ignored:
– Error location: 14224677 0xD90D25 - Inside rear view mirror: Wrong variant assembled
– Error location: 14224685 0xD90D2D - UGDO: Not expected LIN-Slave

I'm trying to find the mirror box to see how it was installed for me. I will try to find out if there is a solution to remove the error code.
Any updates?

I've retrofited mirror from G30 on my F30 lci, all functions work, but error shows up:

Code:
CAS (Front electronic module):
Error code: D90D25
Inside mirror: Wrong variant installed, Fault currently present
Environmental conditions:
- Frequency: 1
- Information entry (1: Yes, 0: No): 0

CAS (Front electronic module):
Error code: D90D26
Inside mirror: Missing LIN component, Fault not currently present
Environmental conditions:
- Frequency: 2
- Information entry (1: Yes, 0: No): 0

I'm not a master at coding but those errors maybe expected. On the first error it appears to be the result of the FEM not seeing the new mirror registered in its VO (Vehicle order) and the second error where the FEM is looking for the old mirror and showing it's missing in the VO. I have a similar errors with my euro headlight switch with the rear fog light button and my AZA steering wheel. Both show faults because they were not the original parts registered in the VO but because of activation coding function without issue.

Replaced a rear seat bolster that had started to recede and show foam. I tried to sharpie it black but it looked like a cheap fix so I replaced it for $60 (ebay). Side note: I think the previous owner had a dog lol.

Mine had auto dimming interior and outside mirrors from factory and its euro and new mirror also from euro car.

Will try to use ista to register new mirror. Because similar errors were with different szl.

M3 paddles.

Wanted to do the more tactile M3 switches too, but alas, the right paddle cable in cars with heated wheels is totally inaccessible unless you want to dismantle the whole wheel.

Today I installed some new engine mods. Pushing an additional 10 whp! Lol got the new air freshener. Didn't realize how big it was based on the size of our vents. It looks kind of awkward imo. They have all new scents so if you like a particular existing scent you better stock up while you can. You have to cut the old scent sticks to fit into the new freshener. I think it would look much better all black.
