in past diy's i've seen, they've used wurth brand paint. http://www.autopia-carcare.com/wus-892181.html

however, another link says wurth wheel paint has a recall due to paint clogging in the spray head. because of that, einszett brand paint is also recommended.

oh, thx, I'm not looking for spray paint right now, i just want to make sure the 156's color is same with 162 or 189, because i am having the shop to powder coating my new wheels to 156's color. and i check my 156 today, looks a bit lighter than 189 in my mind, so i just want to confirm before they put the new color on.

i believe the basic silver is all the same on bmw's. what's different are say the wheel colors on some m model wheels.

maybe you should've done a better job washing them! j/k man. i'm not entirely sure, but i think alex and i were just comparing 162s with 161s
