There are no '07 330i - only 2006!
My CA let me open all windows and sunroof if I hold "open" button for more then 3 sec.
If I press "close" on door handle and hold for more then 3 sec - all windows, sunroof and mirror closed

Ok, I tried a quick search and this IS in the manual so flame away if you see fit, but you can set the turn signal to blink 3x when you lightly activate the lever (not fully engaged). Without idrive this can be done through the menus in the instrument cluster. I have never owned a bimmer before so I am not sure if this is a new(er) feature or not (I know my bro's 09 Camaro SS has it), but it sure is nice on the highway! I guess I'm one of the few bimmer drivers who actually uses turn signals!!!!!!!!!

Works on mine (2010 E92). Slows down until it hits 20 mph, then the brakes release and the cruise stays at 20.

LOL yeah, the triple turn signal and DRL's can be switched on/off there.

I found out that E90 after 57k miles, A/C starts to stink.

I also found out that my E90 is slower than it looks.

It should at least on your '07 328. You have to pull it back towards you and hold it.

And it also turns on the brake lights while you hold it.

Sorry is this one's been mentioned but I'm not reading through all 65 pages to find out...

If you have a manual transmission you can smoothly shift gears both up and down with cruise control on. On most cars pressing the clutch in with cruise control on will just shut cruise off but in our cars it allows you to shift smoothly. Works great!

Sorry if this was mentioned before but....when you put your key into the lock in the driver's door and turn/hold left, the windows close and the side view mirrors fold in. BUT when you come back to your car your mirrors automatically fold back out!

At times I get bored with the display on the idrive screen. On a newer SW if you press AUTO (for aircondition) you can then change between LOW MEDIUM or MAX airflow (smthg like that, not sure of the exact titles). If you for example switch to medium and then right away to low the display of the aircondition mode will stay on, it will not go back to the menu screen. I like it bcs it has a nice non-disturbing bordeaux colour.

[QUOTE=ScheerSpeed;636364-having the clutch depressed at a stop is actually burning up the clutch (clutch plates never release from each other completely, there is always a bit of friction between them)[/QUOTE]

is this true? never heard this...and have been driving various manual cars for the last 10 years

yell at it.

on a serious side note, use CA or use the poor men's CA method. Put the key fob in, engine start, engine off, take key fob out and turn on the engine without keyfob.

Here's a few small things I've noticed...

An iPhone 3gs wedges nicely into the open compartment between the shifter and the arm rest on non iDrive sedans. Grab a Y charger/aux cable from the net and a low profile usb car charger and you'e got a pseudo dock that needs only one connection for sound and charge.

On pre-LCI sedans, the armrest is not springloaded. Thus, I can run the cable from the center box to the iPhone and leave the armrest down. It does not lock down but otherwise works fine. On Post-LCI sedans the armrest is springloaded so this does not work because you can't get the armrest to stay down.
