Am I missing something? I'm getting a consistent misfire around 4k RPM.... anything above or below is fine. Codes coming up are Fuel Pump Plausibility and Misfire cyl. 3.

I wanted to uninstall the AP and bring the car to the dealer with the codes, but when I uninstalled the AP it automatically erased the DTCs without asking. How can I stop it from doing this?

You don't WANT to leave the codes there. The AP throws the "tuner" code, so for your own good, clear the codes.

Yeah I realized that after I posted my question lol. Thanks for the heads up though, that would have ruined my day. Anyway, I emailed some logs to Cobb so they will take a look. New plugs, HPFP, and only happens around 4k RPM... I'm thinking bad gas, but we'll see what they say.

Sounds like possible bad gas. Maybe not enough fuel getting to those parts? I know the main cylinders that misfire on these cars are usually cylinder 5 or 6. Uninstalling my Cobb this weekend as well. Dealership visit Monday!!!

Beta Firmware Updates

I checked the box to download beta firmware updates, seems like there is one every time I plug it into my computer but there are no notes explaining what was changed, does anyone know what these updates are?

Thanks,
Jim

If you only had the "2fa3" (code missing) you should be good, that should clear when you un-install......

The 2fa3 code is normal after install, check it to be sure......it will clear after un-install.

To be honest I had the same problem. Brought the car to the dealer to do the recall on injectors and fuel pump. Been fine ever since. Car runs better too

I have a question after installing the cobb.

I have catless dp on my car. However, I cant clear the codes using cobb and the check engine light keeps coming back after 1-2 ignitions.

The question is how to remove the code completely?

currently, you can use the BMS can tool (plugged into ODB port) or BMS O2 simulator (wired into ECU)

The Stage 1 tune currently does not have a dp fix (CEL delete) pre-built into the software. However, you can purchase a dp fix that is hardwired into the ECU to eliminate the CEL on dash from increased emissions.

Yep, I just learned to live with it. Now once stage 2 comes out it should be taken care of.

Has anyone had issues with 93 octane gas using the 91 octane map? I have read about the limp modes and codes from running the 93 octane maps.
