I've never had a problem bringing my car to Motorwerks in Barrington. When I had suspension stuff on my 335 they were pretty reasonable about it too, they just said they won't touch any components that aren't BMW

na... the soft compound it pretty grippy dude. i mean if they are brand new the taller tread might be noisy but thats about it.

Aren't the pulls usually done in 3rd or 4th gear? Is slippage a concern for our cars in those gears (we're not driving turbocharged vipers or anything...)

To get the closest results I'd run the same tires you do on the summer in the street, but I don't see winter tires throwing off results very dramatically.

If its strapped up correctly you should not have a problem with slippage...

I only stopped going there because I met Andre, but now that he's not at Laurel anymore, I brought my car back there. They gave me a loaner without prior notice and let me print out my proof of insurance since I didn't have it on me (thought I did, lol).
