I didn't wax. That was a pre-soak I sprayed on before the scrub. Then used my own scrub brush and soap, came out really well.

Well if the wind calms down a bit, I'm going to put new rotors on the front of my car since it seems I got bent over on my last CPO brake job before it ran out.

Dealership only put pads on since they deemed the rotors in good shape.

I haz questions. 1 why is the back plate yellow and the front white. 2 on wheeler dealerS they often get new versions of the number plate. Is that easy to do? 3. Why do they stick on and not use screws?

I had the battery in the fob replaced. A leak in the tire fixed. Fixed a loose led angle eye until I go back to stock.

No idea! Just the law.

If you own the car you can get new number plates using the official documents very easily, can you not in the US?

You can do either - different cars/people do different things

I have never done a pre soak. I've gone as far as using Chemical guys striping soap to get rid of the old wax and grease...

Would you mind going over the benefits of a pre soak and which product you used? I'm curious and willing to try something new.

Thanks!

1 It is illegal to show a white light or white reflector in the back of the vehicle unless you are going in reverse, that is why the back plate is yellow.

2 It is very easy, just like here in the commonwealth of PA (Pennsylvania for our international friends). The Government does not issue the plates, you just go to a notary and get a new plate whenever you want as long as you pay the fee.

3 I'm wondering the same thing too!

Finished up the doughnut spare from the E60, plus the foam insert (tire tray) with the jack, lug wrench, and wheel chock. Fits pretty well in the e92 trunk. Some pictures of each piece here (I assembled from other places, but this is a nice kit with good options): http://www.bimmerzone.com/BMW_Perfor...T-E90-KIT.html

Put on meatier "winter tires", removed front spacers, adjusted rear ride height, got an alignment.
