How does going from 235/35 to 245/35 front tires go from being fine to rubbing. It's 1 damn cm. Looking at my front wheel well, I feel I could drip it 1-2 inch safely.

The second number is the aspect ratio, it isn't a constant...it's a percentage of tire width IIRC. Not only is the 245/35 wider, the sidewall is taller than the one on the 235/35. My fronts rub under hard lock...not a huge deal

I'll double check but there are zposters running those sizes...and having camber plates up front should help. FWIW I'm on 245/45R18 square blizzaks from stock 225/45R18 255/40R18

Yup I am a wizard

I just go to that calculator that's in the Tire section of the forums. Oh, I was 5 off on the aspect ratio... maybe you're fine then.

wtf, $1700 for Sat radio install?!? better to get it when ordering a car even though you don't think you're going to use it.

Los, my mirror motor is being replaced under warranty.

You guys suggested these two company's for wheel repair. Anyone have thier wheels fully painted by them? Hows the quality of getting them painted? Would I be better off buying a whole new set of rims instead of getting them painted?

I ran 245/275 dropped on springs in my E90. No roll, no rubbing. Too bad E92's are a little different.

I used Tim in Lake in the Hills for powdercoating. $350 for my winter 18s. Looks outstanding. PM Johan for his info.
