Well you're right it's much too ostentatious for my humble upbringings and 206k rescue car. Maybe when I build one for Trump lol. I do wish there was something less gaudy and expensive that had the same anti-corrosive properties tho.

Was reading through the forums here and found that 330/335 brakes fit right up to a 328i xDrive.... hmmm. Might need to cancel my pads/rotors on order and find a swap! 3-stage intake is also on my list, so would compliment a "329" very well.
Also, was sitting in a parking lot and wanted to switch off my headlights, and they wouldn't. Seems like the switch is stuck on Auto. Found some info in the F10 forums but could just be a faulty switch. Didn't find any solutions otherwise but could be another excuse to order a euro switch to enable the rear fog lights |

Bought another spark plug that will go in where the oil leak is once that's changed. But my dumb ass forgot to buy an oil filter. AGAIN.

Finished setting up ISTA on the laptop and it reads the e92 but not the e46 lol. At least inpa works on both

I could have sworn I had that issue until I opened my trunk and realized my breaker bar I use for a lug wrench was loose again lol

So maybe newer E9x need the newer type cable? I think it's possible to get a cable that'll switch from new to old type.

https://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1385805 too much work for just one tiny stuck pin, but once done feels good. |

Also two days ago after getting repeated fuel tank ventilation code, flipped and put the original the fuel tank cap gasket back. Will see how long that will last. A year ago I was getting same code and that time I bought a gasket from Amazon which was black. Original is green, but not sold separately from the cap.
The black gasket from Amazon lasted a year. I had saved the original gasket just in case the black and thinner one from Amazon won't work. And now that time has come, original gasket flipped and back to the car. |

Getting my suspension upgrade/refresh parts inventoried and trying to get set in my head how each one is removed/installed. I'm putting in M3 body bushings, one of them goes in backwards from the stock bushing, the subframe has to come down to install it because it has to go in from the top. M3 front differential bushings and the rest new Lemforders. M3 wishbones and guide rods and ECS trailing link. I have an adjustable toe arm somewhere with UPS but it has plenty of time while I get stuff prepped.

and I should be good to go in terms of coding and troubleshooting? Is there anything else on that Mega directory that I should download while I have my subscription? Installed my front dash cam today (Viofo A119 V3) --tapped into the side mirror circuit behind the glove box--went surprisingly quick. |

Get the BMW tools with the Daten files aswell as ISTA if it's still posted up. BMW tools should have ncs and all that good stuff for coding and inpa for scanning and diagnostic. Ista is pretty similar to inpa but a lot more user friendly in my opinion

Less today and more like over the past few weeks but valve cover gasket, oil cooler gasket, and BC BR coilovers!

Thanks tlow98! Trying to keep it mostly BMW parts while going for a few upgrades. No options for the toe and trailing arms but other than that it is M3 or stock stuff. I'm the poster boy for "while you're in there", it doesn't help that I love the wrenches and that mrs. jake will find less fun stuff for me to do should I ever finish a project. Somehow replacing a couple bushings morphed into a new californy subframe and a 3.64 diff from TX, to the point that the only thing original that'll be left back there are the lower control arm, axle carriers and the hubs.
