the e92 is PIGGGGGGGGGG. Im sure you know how SOW is, its a smaller tighter course built more towards the lightweight compact cars. Through the straights, its was no contest, i could pass most of them easily, but when the corners came, it was the opposite. Most of the time, i wouldn't even try to pass people on straights just because i know they'll pass me once a corner comes up. Overall i think the car is alright. You definitely need to turn DSC off and you can't be afraid to slide the car.

The stock rft's are fine actually. I dont see why people complain. They held up very well through 3..4 sessions and never felt "mushy" to me. And the harder sidewalls were a definite plus.

do you feel that the car would benefit from at least a spring upgrade...sways maybe?

I've never been a fan of just springs. I figure if im gonna do it, i might as well do it right the first time and get coilovers. I mean for most people who dont plan on any high performance driving, springs are perfect. They dont need all the adjustability of coilovers. i mean who rides on the lowest settings on the hardest ride in there KW's for everyday. But sways would definitely help on the exits. i let the instructor drive my car and he said the car was extremely balanced like all BMW's but there was a lot of understeer on corner exits which should help be eliminated by rear sways.
