Will be picking up a 330D SE in less than two weeks. Looking forward to it but sometimes get a bit concerned with some of the issues raised in a number of forums: swirl flaps. run flats etc. But should be good. Biggest problem so far has been trying to get a quote for an Ipod connector from the dealer I'm buying the car from. Took about two weeks to get a price confirmed.

Trying to decide if its worth getting the AUC service plan for the next two years...

New 325d M Sport

Hi All,

Just wanted to say a quick hello.

I have had my e90 for 4 weeks now and its running in very well indeed.

I have found the forum really useful and the info about the re-maps have taken the pain out of going it alone and the risks of finding a poor map that kills the car.
Evolve re-maps look good so far but nothing for the newer 325D 204BHP engine. Will have to wait I guess.

Anyway, take it easy.

D

Hi guys,

Been looking at buying an E90 for the last month or so and have found one that suits me down to the ground. An '06 330i M-Sport in Le Mans blue. Been chatting to the seller and sorting a couple of minor problems and should be putting a deposit down today and picking it up on the 5th March, all going well

Hello All
I've recently order a new company car - the 320ed. It the first BMW i've had (the missus has a 1 series), and will be completely different to my current Focus ST. But the fuel is getting ridiculas, and the tax bill will be much better with the ED.

I've gone for a few options:

3 spoke sports leather steering wheel
Cruise control
DAB Digital radio
Dakota leather - Black
Electric front seats with 2 position memory
Exterior mirror pack
Folding front centre armrest + storage
Folding rear seat head rests
Front sports seats with electric side bolster adjustment
Front/rear park distance control
Harman/Kardon logic 7 surround sound system
Heated front seats
Heated steering wheel
High gloss black interior
Individual anthracite headlining
Individual sun protection dark tinted glazing
Media pack - Professional - 3 Series
Alpine white
USB/audio interface
Visibility pack

Looking forward to getting it now...

Regards
Paulf

Talking Hello fellow peasants

Hi, guys. Just thought I'd say hello, finally managed to justify a Beemer after years of having to shift kids (sometimes sick), gardening supplies, building materials, dirty dogs, etc, in mundane hatchbacks. Can finally enjoy driving a car as opposed to a four-door delivery vehicle, yee-haa!!

Hey all,

Thought I would introduce myself. I'm Pyth, a Senior BMW Tech in the UK. Interested in mixing with people who love BMW's and hopefully (if possible) at some time offer some help and advice.

Evening all

A bit slow off the mark - got my 335i coupe April 2010 and have been meaning to get involved here.

I had been thinking of an E46 330i but when I saw this e92 at my local dealer I knew it was the car for me. It didn't have a long list of options but it was my favourite colour (Montego Blue), with my favourite leather (Jade grey), manual, no-smoker, immaculate condition with only 14k miles (56 plate), 18" wheels (not so keen on 19" personally) and most important, it felt 'right'.

A few pics from the day I picked it up :

I've already fitted a Dension 500 ipod/usb gateway, and the BMW Alpine audio upgrade (both highly recommened btw!). This year as the weather improves I have a couple of other ideas brewing... perhaps in the diff-related arena...
