Start with a scan if you have a scanner see what the code is. Then if you have the means to clear it with the app. I use protools. There's a bunch of options out there

I've tried the manual reset by steering left then right as well as clearing using MHD and even unplugging the battery. All have been no solution. I'll be using a better scanner tonight and working from there. This weekend I may be taking off and cleaning all abs and wheel velocity sensors as well as cleaning the optical disk. The worst scenario is abs pump failure or SAS repair kit.

The windshield cowl on my 325 is a mess also, full of dry rot cracks and it doesn't even sit flush against the windshield, however after carefully making sure the lower clip is properly seated, and carefully attaching the underhood tray (holding the cabin air filter) I haven't had any more water leaks on that car.

Why would it look rice?

The under door logo's are original BMW options.

The red foot well lighting isn't BMW, but the car already has red ambient lights (door, roof), and the foot well lights are the same color, pretty dim, not at all like in the pictures. You should see it irl, imo it looks pretty good.

I did the DIY: Auto Transmission Fluid Change today.

Great DYI, would add, ball tip Allen wrench really helps with the plug. Also 3” dryer vent is a prefect fit over the exhaust tips, for running the car in the warm garage.

Thank to all for this great site.

Where do you find the Megatronic sleeve? Like the part. Or do the GM transmissions not have one?

The red LEDs dont match the amber ambient lighting. It just looks out of place. As far as the logo projector things, they are what i would consider "factory rice". Just because its OEM (which I dont think its OEM to e9x) dosent mean its a good look. Remember, BMW puts M badges on base models 328's now. BUT with that being said, this is just my opinion. It's your car, do as you please.

If you aren't too attached to the projector logo, some of those lights have "slides" that can be replaced or removed. A plain white light looks better IMO, that's what I have now. The OEM puddle lights are very dim on the pre-lci.

Cleaned VANOS solenoids. So far, it's running better, but have to start it sorta warm to know for sure.

Edit: still shakes on startup, but so far, it's idling better. Not perfect, but better. I imagine things will change once the valve cover is done and it isn't leaking oil into a plug chamber.

Turned the corner on the most underneathiest part of the car, the rust under heat shield which is above the rear subframe. It doesn't get any more apart than this. Irks me the new genuine BMW heat shield has holes punched in the wrong spot, could have just let me drill them all myself but at least it's not falling apart. No more de-crusting, nothing but putting stuff back together from here out.

Installed the ARM silicone 3" lower charge pipe & 3" outlet connector to the FMIC. I have a 5" stepped ARM FMIC. They fit like a glove. The lower charge pipe is difficult to fit in there, no question. It's significantly bigger than the OEM connection.

Obviously, you do need to take the FMIC & engine fan out, in order to install both connections.

Truth be told, sometime in the next 9 months, I'm going to be looking into upgrading to their 7" FMIC.

Tried coding my speedometer. Screwed that up and caused the red service lift thing to come on. HOWEVER, I did fix that. Speedometer is still off.

Realized I've pretty much ruined my Indy 500s I put on about 12k miles ago.. i had all bushings replaced recently in the front since I thought that would bring it back in alignment but not now it's showing threads. Guess I can't keep these even if I get the alignment fixed

You might be able to get a certain amount reimbursed back if the tires are still under the factory warranty.

I'll definitely look into that. The tires were bought at Firestone so I suppose there should be something I could do. Though idk if the 10-12k miles I've put on them are gonna affect that

I don't think it will. For example, the Pirelli tires I have on my E90 have a 50k mile manufacture warranty. So, say the tire thread gets very low or there's uneven thread after I drove only 20k miles on that tire, I can get like $80 reimbursed per tire that can go towards the new tires I purchase.
