Hell no, not downgrading to an E30. :P
I really like the E36, but it does rattle like a shitbox full of marbles. And the autotragic is JUST starting to slip a tiny bit in 3rd gear. Would probably go a shitload more miles before it needs to be replaced but it'll need it at some point.

The chassis are basically the same, and the suspensions are essentially the same (geometrically). The E36 is fatter and heavier, but I just feel more safe in a newer car with more airbags I guess. And I do like how they look a lot more than the E30. I wouldn't mind an E30, but wouldn't trade my E36 for one.

Bilstein PSS coilovers. It's only height adjustable, didn't care for any shock tuning on a DD. It's essentially the PSS9s without damper adjustment.

Yeah for a few models, but it's not that common. In fact they don't make it for the E36 M cars, just the plain jane E36s.

They're OK, a bit stiff for a DD. You should check out my PSS10s in the E90 next time, that rides really nice.
