Charge pipe exploded. 320i loaner. BMW has got a lot of balls putting a "sport" button on that thing.

What a boring car. I'd rather have a Toyota Camry and $10k in my pocket.

Z - what are you working on there? Oil, Trans, and Brake fluid?

Now I get to say I told you so Let me guess it took all of 5m. It should be the 1st mod for the MT. Why BMW has been putting those in for 20 years is beyond me.

Yes it took me prob even less than that. This was the first mod i ever did to my 335. Night and day. When I drive a car with this in, it's almost as though I forgot to drive a 6 speed.

how do we get more E85 stations in this state? is there a petition or can the state gov mandate it somehow? I'm really against the gov telling local businesses what to do but in this case...give me my E85 damnit. I guess we are lucky we aren't stuck with piss 91 like cali.

This is cool alot better then paying $750 for a piece that may have the be modified.

Maybe this and some fancy axles and i'll go back to the track...

Picture story time...

It is a tale of the crusty peeling steering wheel trim that haunted my life.

So I took a vampire stake / trim tool and stabbed it until it came out.

Sanded it's face and mummified it in 3M 1080 Matte Black.

Be gone, chrome/silver things. 3M 1080 Brushed Black to match the dash.

All wrapped up.

Back to the shitbox with you.

Pretty easy. 3 screws, 2 more for the sw controls. Just make sure to keep an eye on the button assemblies from getting in the way before you pull on the trim too hard.

I need to fix my interior peeling door handle. anyone have any suggestions?

Looks good Z, I need to do that as well. Do you have enough left over 3M 1080 Matte Black by any chance?
