When a car has exceeded ownership of 4 years or a traveled distance of 50,000 miles, the right of the owner to service check-ups and otherwise complimentary repairs is voided.

And that's in a balloon-lease agreement, which is not the type of lease I signed for.

Oddly, I did too....I waited a year hoping that somehow his efforts to change his style would come to fruition and couldn't take it anymore. If he could come back coming off differently I would be the first to welcome him. I realize that is hollow however, as he likely isn't coming back.

If we want to argue semantics, the warranty contract has expired, rendering the warranty void.

Welcome to the Chicagoland Chat forum on E90Post.com. At this time we ask you consider the following:
1. You have entered what is essentially a non-exclusive e-fraternity (in the worst possible sense) held together by the commonality of owning a bimmer.
2. All are welcome (except lying braggarts).
3. There will be car discussion amongst all the sophomoric attempts at humor, we promise.
4. There are some very knowledgeable people here if you have a question, please ask...at any given time there are 4-10 regular posters and someone will try to answer you seriously.
5. Your manhood, ethnicity, intelligence, sexuality, junk size WILL be made fun of. Do not be offended. Once that starts happening and you can respond in kind, you are one of us.
6. Always, always, always contact WSTO first for every potential purchase. If they don’t have it, they know where to get it.
7. Vasillov is a lying braggart.
8. If you look down your nose at us and the way we act the way Vasil did on 2/4/11 you are free to leave. No one is forcing you to participate. Don’t let the door hit you in the ass on the way out.

I don't know much about the Hawk pads but I know the Mintex Extreme pads are pretty good for track use. I have cool carbon which are like good enough to be on the track but also long wearing and low dust for daily use.... kinda best of both worlds.

OK....its voided because.....

The terms of the contract have been fulfilled. The stated and agreed warranty period has expired. There is no reason to void, however to avoid legal issues they may use the terminology above. Much like when your the date on your milk carton passes, the milk company does not come around and void their promise of fresh milk, it simply expires and the implication is that they no longer warrant that the milk is fresh.

So, what special lease did they come up with for your special car? How then did they calculate a lease payment amount?

Well the difference in an owner actively violating his service contract by modifications and the contract expiring on its time constraint. Which is why the nomenclature used within the car community is that having a warranty voided means that the owner did something necessitating the denial of warranty service, rather than having an intact warranty simply expiring. Is the vernacular 100% accurate? No...but the connotation does make sense for those willing to remove whatever items might be lodged up their respective asses.
