I hate to bitch first thing in the morning, but I was at a local convenient store this morning, and I come walking out the front doors after purchasing my coffee and all I here is this six cylinder mustang (red in color) with dual magnaflows (and gt rims) drop the hammer right out in front of the store!
If I have a pet pieve it is a six cylinder mustang acting out as a gt! To me it is worse than those guys with 330's or 335's with //M stickers on them! I really cringed like finger nails on a chalk board!
This car was so beat!

Ahhhhh, much better!

Morning guys!

i agree completely, as a lover of mustangs, it makes me want to puke that they even MAKE a 6cyl mustang, let alone the douche bags that dress them up to look like gt's or cobra's

Finally, Gosh I thought I was out here all alone in the wilderness of dumb! I swear if you can not afford the car or the insurance to drive it, please do not try and make it one thru the exhaust! I mean you can do what ever you want to your car, but I can also give you a retarded look as I pass your 6cyl mustang in my more powerful BMW! I have a 6cyl Nat asp and you dont see me with a 911 tt badge on my car!
Ok, I am slowly coming out of this, ahhhh thats better!

Oh Kev, btw my first car was an 81 GT with around 320whp. ran pretty good and was rather light without all the GT moldings. I loved that car and never lost races. My big brother gave it to me as my 16th bd present. HE has always wanted another one and just bought it yesterday, an 85 GT roughly 350whp, it has been bored to 60 over and the heads shaved, MSD, Etc. Our childhood friend owned for about 8 years and finally wanted to get rid of it, so he bought it. The cars is now like a hugger orange color. Needs a lil work, but gr8 project car. Could use some wider wheels in the back and a good suspension upgrade, what do you suggest?

i had a 79 cobra, first year of the fox body, an 85 gt, my favorite car, and an 86 gt, and a 88 notchback, i absolutely love mustangs.

suspension depends on what you want to do with the car, i was the only one of my friends that wanted my mustang to handle the curves, so i always used saleen suspension, my friends all wanted drag performance so they went with the cobra set ups, i know there is alot more companies making parts now, but when i was into it heavy you either went with saleen or cobra parts. first thing i would always do is tear that weak 27 spline 8.8 rear out and swap it with a 31 spline 8.8 out of an explorer, and weld the axle tubes to the center section so they dont twist loose with torque.

My one buddy did that the rr end. He had 750whp in a stroked mustang, he moved the engine back and welded up all kinds of support brackets, he could get the tires to lift hitting second on the drag strip, I think he was running mid 9's in the 1/4. You have any parts left over from your cars, he also needs door moldings around the windows, they are all cracked and shit.

with fox body mustangs is a must to weld in subframe connectors and modify the torque boxes so they can handle power, or the car will be junk very quickly. no i dont have any parts left, i wish i did, only thing i have is my rear seat out of my cobra, its black and white checkered and has the cobra symbol sewn into the leather in the center, i will never get rid of that lol.

my friend is working on a 92 convertable now, but he cant decide what he wants to do, he has his 302 in the car, a fresh 302 in the garage and a 351 cleveland in the garage, i told him to stroke the new 302 to 347 and be done, he wants to supercharge the 302 or just throw in a 351, the 351 doesnt produce enough power compared to a stroked 347, but whatever, he will learn, but of course he has me helping with everything lol.
