4F lol I couldn't live there, it's been 16 here that's past my limit. I'm glad I charged and started my 325i a couple weeks ago because now it's under a car cover under 6" of snowy ice, hopefully it will still be alive when the thaw comes.

But I digress, I want to understand this stuff better. I need to have a chat with you about 3 stage manifolds and custom CCVs on the 325 some time, O' intake guru. |

Idk if starting it up in negative degree temp. would either harm the engine or benefit it. |

The worst thing that happens to a N52 is the gaskets dry out, I wouldn't start it every day for 2 minutes but a couple times a month warmed up to keep it lubed wouldn't hurt.

I'll probably shift through gears for 10-15 sec and run it at 3k RPM before I turn the car off. That was some fluid goes through the transmission etc. Last edited by Mosaud1998; 02-10-2021 at 02:15 AM.. |

It will like that, it gets cold in Germany they account for that, not being used they can't understand. My car was on the lift from Nov to a couple days ago with the battery and the whole rest of the car disconnected. Finally together and it started up fine, and just in time to get snowed in again so I'm taking it apart again to do the VCG.

I think I'll just start my car up and my "mom's" Mercedes (no one uses the Benz. My mom drives the minivan and dad drives the accord. The Mercedes has been sitting just like my car). Before I shut both cars off, I'll run through each gear for 10-15 sec then rev them up to 2k RPMs and wait for both to get to the right RPM then turn them off.

Oh I didn't mention the lows. It's been as low as -12 F here over the weekend. If my battery was weak, it would have died.

Did this aero mod before putting the car away for the Winter. Covers for the rear control arms.

I pull the wheels into the basement in Winter so I can Ceramic coat them and I ran all new upgraded Fuel lines. I'm surprised no one noticed my Diff brace since most people run the sold one piece. The new Supra has them on it so you can buy them for the Z4 for like $90 each or you can buy them from Toyota for I think I paid $15 each for them.
