4F lol I couldn't live there, it's been 16 here that's past my limit. I'm glad I charged and started my 325i a couple weeks ago because now it's under a car cover under 6" of snowy ice, hopefully it will still be alive when the thaw comes.

I'm doing my ccv on the 330, I just ordered BMW genuine hoses and stuff. I wasted a gallon on coolant on my perfect cooling system install the other day on account of a Rein lower radiator hose that leaked from the sensor (and not cleaning the oil from my drain pan lol) , not worth it just doing genuine until I understand what is under there as well as you.

But I digress, I want to understand this stuff better. I need to have a chat with you about 3 stage manifolds and custom CCVs on the 325 some time, O' intake guru.

I mean, I've got it sitting on a tender

Idk if starting it up in negative degree temp. would either harm the engine or benefit it.

The worst thing that happens to a N52 is the gaskets dry out, I wouldn't start it every day for 2 minutes but a couple times a month warmed up to keep it lubed wouldn't hurt.

Last time I drove it was Jan 29th. I'll probably fire it up tomorrow morning(let it run for 10 min)while I make me some breakfast

I'll probably shift through gears for 10-15 sec and run it at 3k RPM before I turn the car off. That was some fluid goes through the transmission etc.

It will like that, it gets cold in Germany they account for that, not being used they can't understand. My car was on the lift from Nov to a couple days ago with the battery and the whole rest of the car disconnected. Finally together and it started up fine, and just in time to get snowed in again so I'm taking it apart again to do the VCG.

Should I rev it to 3k rpm or leave it at idle

I think I'll just start my car up and my "mom's" Mercedes (no one uses the Benz. My mom drives the minivan and dad drives the accord. The Mercedes has been sitting just like my car). Before I shut both cars off, I'll run through each gear for 10-15 sec then rev them up to 2k RPMs and wait for both to get to the right RPM then turn them off.

Depending on the weather my E30 and Z4 go into hibernation at the end of October and come out in April or May. I unplug the batteries, put a bit more air in the tyres and fill the petrol tank but that's about it. My '99 RAV4 goes back to back with them. E91 is on all year but if there's snow I drive the RAV to keep the salt off it.

Oh I didn't mention the lows. It's been as low as -12 F here over the weekend. If my battery was weak, it would have died.

Anytime a car is lifted and the shocks/struts are yellow and blue, it's a good day. If the boots are blue even better.

My wife's GM SUV is such (black GM OE boots on the front though, blue on the rear shocks)! My BMW is all black (OE)

LOL, thanks. Yeah the stiffer shocks work good at the drag strip.
I pull the wheels into the basement in Winter so I can Ceramic coat them and I ran all new upgraded Fuel lines.

I'm surprised no one noticed my Diff brace since most people run the sold one piece.

The new Supra has them on it so you can buy them for the Z4 for like $90 each or you can buy them from Toyota for I think I paid $15 each for them.
