Don't I need to download the software before being able to download the firmware. Let me try to hook the AP up to my pc again. edit: Yeah, because I don't have the software, my PC doesn't recognize the AP, so I'm unable to update the firmware it appears. Unable to download the software because I can't access the Cobb site ![]() Current firmware shows: 1.6.3.2 -1405 - Also, does everyone's AP have 9 pins at the bottom instead of 10? Quick look at my log?
Finally installed my AP last night. I love how the car pulls.
I wanted to get some comments if this log looks OK. Current mods are only VK 2.5" catless downpipes + Cobb AP. Running 93oct v202 standard. I know it's a short log, but it was on my way to work this morning. Also, I noticed that with the procede, the car never boosted past 7-8psi when the engine was not at OT. With the Cobb, I was hitting 15psi as soon as I drove off. Isn't this bad for engine longevity? |

Looks perfect, the items of interest are your o2 sensor (perfect at 12:1), timing (no dips or pulls), boost, and tps (not having any closures)...
Looks good. |

I know, but this caught me by surprise, since it was the first time running with the AP.

You should not run your car hard or exceed 5 PSI until oil temps reach about 160F. That is why the procede did as such. It's not good long term.

Just texted Rob. There will be two Stage 2's.
Stage 2 - turboback exhaust Stage 2 + FMIC - turboback exhaust + FMIC I'll be running Stage 2+ with downpipes only...

6MT's don't put down lower numbers than 6AT but it is harder to get better times at the track due to the auto being so consistent.

I'm not used to that "turboback" terminology. Must have been sourced from the Evinrude, er Subaru community. Downpipes are all that's needed on stock turbos. Anything farther back just adds noise. |

![]() My 2007 beta has been flawless, so I'm not really happy about 2007 coming out of beta. But I'm happy cause that means one step closer to Stage 2 (and Stage 2+). |

Can't wait for stage 2. I have the Helix FMIC, and about to purchase a Dinan axel back exhaust from a friend. Would the axel back be sufficient enough or will i need something from the DPs all the way back like on Evos, Subbies, ect...?
