Installed AFE scoops for no other reason than wth and managed to not break anything at all. For a change.

Yes. I called them at their head office in Miami, FL.. spoke with the Sales Manager there… think his name was Eric - nice guy. Told him what my performance mods were and that I was planning to go into a shop called CG Motorsports to get it flashed so they will send the file their way

I'll probably post up a review after the New Year. Going in to a local shop on the 12th of this month to get the tune installed, but going away for Christmas soon after that. From what I've been told, I will probably need to drive it for a few hundred miles to get the full experience.

Just got done installing a new window regulator in my left rear door. What a pain in the ass, but it was the first time I ever did it, so I suppose that's to be expected. Have one more to do on the opposite side, but I'm saving that for another day. I froze my ass off out there! Just bought new door panel clips too. I think most times those damned things are "one time use" items. Awe fugg it, BMW for life!

Hey friends,
Been a bit since I've been here but that's good cause I haven't had any issues. PSA: be careful with road debris! My car's at Chapman BMW being serviced after I ran over some tire shreds on the highway. Luckily not too serious. Noticed gas leakage and underbody panel damage. Diagnosis: fuel line from tank to front of car needs replace. All good though, I think I was lucky. Last edited by e92_enthusiast_1; 12-04-2014 at 12:52 PM.. |

Floor liners
Just installed these floor liners. I was able to get them on clearance, which was pretty sweet.
They're awesome mats for winter. Highly recommended! Last edited by kunal_d; 12-04-2014 at 01:02 PM.. |

Cleaned out and switched around the intake & exhaust VANOS solenoids… would've been a 15 minute job except for the fact that the coupling which mates to the O-ring on the exhaust solenoid fell down into the abyss at the front of my engine while I was removing it from the head….. There was a moment in time and space where it was just dangling at the end of the solenoid as I was carefully angling it out of the engine bay, and I realized that this was either going to be the biggest relief or a royal PITA… 20 minutes later after much swearing and cutting up my hands, I managed to find the black plastic POS buried down there and held it up like the holy grail

Highly recommend these. I have them in my car and they rock! Carpets stay pristine and all you have to do is hose them off or pressure wash them to clean them.
