Yea, unless you haul ass and just wing it, you never do it first time efficiently. The second time you probably cut 25%-50% off and then a little at a time. The first time, if you're learning as you go is not fast.

Interesting My experience has been limited to Evos, WRX, and the occasional Mazdaspeed 3 and 6 (my god those were terrible, talk about tight spaces.) Sold my speed 3 after building the motor, and going little turbo, big turbo, little turbo. I understand about having no room to work.

Dude I'm not trying to call anyone out on how to work on shit...you're obviously well versed working on cars that just fight you every step of the way. That's exactly how it is putting DP's on the N54...I'm a DIYer at heart but for what it takes I'd just pay the 3-4hrs VS will quote you and be done with it.

Pretty much. First time I did my steering wheel I spend 1.5 hours...second time maybe 30-45min. First time doing the trim was probably and hour, now I can fucking snap that shit on and off in 15min. The DPs were the one thing that did not get easier with experience.

Yea, based on how you described it, struggling in a tight place (none gay), its can get really really frustrating to do the simpliest thing.

If you're determined we can figure out a day where I can get you on the lift, and hell even offer a hand every now and then, but seriously I'd just take it to VS.

Bri y u push VS so hard when you live within walking distance of A&L. Just was always curious, nothing wrong with VS at all, but knowing your lazy ass I don't see why you don't go to the closer place.

TBH me going to VS is not an attempt to put anyone else down. A&L/IND is cheaper but being in the service industry I do follow the law of getting what you pay for. This is not meant to put anyone above anyone else, but I do not mind paying more for satisfactory service.

I originally went to VS bc they were the only people with an Autologic. Cliff notes, it's all downhill from there. Impressed with the builds they had going, the knowledge and experience and results they had, and the whole "if something isn't broken, don't fix it" mentality. Everytime I go there to pick my car up it seems like a 10min process turns into 90min of watching youtube videos. It's always done right the first time. And as far as the laziness goes, they are about as far from my office as A&L is from my house
