I originally went to VS bc they were the only people with an Autologic. Cliff notes, it's all downhill from there. Impressed with the builds they had going, the knowledge and experience and results they had, and the whole "if something isn't broken, don't fix it" mentality. Everytime I go there to pick my car up it seems like a 10min process turns into 90min of watching youtube videos. It's always done right the first time. And as far as the laziness goes, they are about as far from my office as A&L is from my house

I figured you were referring to VS motorsports. Never been, never had the need. Given my z4 has an N52 and an extended warranty, no need for modification, I might be picking up a bastuck catback but thats too intense for me to install given the slip fit and clamps. <sarcasm>

Yea, I never went either until I needed to use the Autologic reader. And considering I don't have the proper tools, I bring all my tire mount/balancing/alignment needs there as wel. For whatever reason, there are a few things I will never feel 100% comfortable doing myself...suspension being one of them...you obviously know what you're doing, but if the situation ever arises where you don't have the tools or confidence to attempt something, VS is my first phone call.

Id be more than willing to help with suspension. Just did shocks/struts/control arms on a saab 9-5 aero, shocks/struts/brakes on the z4, and control arms and coilovers on an NA miata.

Gotta love friends who need car help work

They just put on coilovers, camber plates, and rear shock mounts for me...if you are well versed in brakes I am going to be doing some brake work before track season
