I arranged a small meeting with 3 other E39 530i Sport Champagne Edition II's which my local BMW centre very nicely hosted for us.
It was really nice to see 4 of these Champagne Edition II's together (only about 60 of these left on the road now). It was a great morning with staff and customers asking lots of questions and taking photos. Mine is "M" in the photos.

You can't go wrong with either, IMHO. Both are great cars with that awesome S54! Had I needed a backseat when I got the MC, I would have gotten the M3.

Stunning, one of the all time best designs from BMW IMHO. If I had the room, I'd pick one up in a heartbeat. I think the prices are still reasonable for what you're getting, especially when you look at what some M cars are going for.
