Honda CBX 1000 Café Racer with 1982 donor motor cranked-up tp 1100cc. You have to admire the 6 into 1 exhaust which looks like Medusa on a good hair day.

Custom Guzzi 1100 Tracker from a very "scruffy" 1996 1100 Sport—the last and fastest of the carbureted Guzzis.

That last bike with the sidecar looks like a real ball buster given how the rider is leaning so far forward to reach the handlebars…. And literally almost no cushion on that seat.

Fun times... definitely have a soft spot for Ducati, but the Aprilia Tuono was fun too. The R1200S was fun, but the Telelever suspension is something to get used to.

Its a racing platform. Look at the racing sidecar rigs and watch some videos on youtube, sidecar racing is hilarious.

Thanks I've seen sidecar racing and know what it is, I was only commenting on how uncomfortable the driver's seat looks.

Our tour guide said you can order a fully kitted-out Jeepney and have it delivered in 48 hours. Looking at the build quality....... well, we took a licensed guide to get around Manila for a reason! Note: Jeepney pics are from Google- my wife has all of our pics, and she's sick upstairs.

The 1894 Hildebrand & Wolfmuller motorcycle that recently sold at a Bonhams auction for $209,000 proves that old-school motorcyclists were built of something more than we are today.
In 1894 this motorcycle was direct drive. The connecting rods for the Hildebrand’s pistons were connected directly to the rear wheel, and it has no clutch. The faded white bands on the frame? Those are rubber bands that helped yank the pistons back on the return stroke. |
