We have been tuning the 335d since 2007 and have tuned many forum E90post members cars with good results. You will probably find reviews going back to 2008 on this forum and customers have gone on to cover lots of trouble free miles with our remap. If you have not already you can read BMW Car test on an Evolve remapped 335d here. http://issuu.com/evolveautomotive/docs/fuel_for_thought |

Wow very tempted. How long does it take to do? Will my 231bhp 330d manual gearbox with 80k on it be ok, or will I see some slip? I don't mind replacing worn parts but want the part to last a reasonable amount of time

We try and feed in the power as gently as we can to prevent clutch slip but if it is on its way out then it may slip. It really depends on how the car has been driven.

What success if any have you had with the 320i?
I know any increases would be small, can you tell me where about on power range they are likely to be? Would this effect the known issues with with the coils and injectors of this model. Do you have any feedback from 320 owners who have had this work done? Cheers. Steve. |

Anyway, applied my remap this morning using the Evolve Switch and I've got to say its fantastic! My car is a 163bhp 320D, anybody who has driven one will be aware of the sluggish performance below around 1500rpm. This has been reduced slightly but is still there, I assume a flaw with the actual turbo setup than the tuning. However after that, from around 1750rpm the car comes alive! Can actually feel myself being pushed back in my seat which I never really got with the car before. Also had the traction control flashing away when I was accelerating in 3rd lol. The roads are a bit damp but I would never get that before. Had a couple of minor issues getting the switch working on Windows 8, but a bit of help from Imran and this thread and it was soon sorted. Thanks again guys, really great work and will happily recommend Evolve |
