How long did it take? I've been trying to figure out how to schedule mine.

I think we need to get the bimmerforums crew over here, regardless of E9x or not. Good group of guys and I think some publicity here would be beneficial haha

I went to JS4KIX. I know the place looks like a shit hole but the lounge is accually comfortable and they did a good job. Super cheap. I recommend them.

Most of the guys that own a E9X are here from bimmerforums.

Anyone got a friendly Safety Inspection spot? And just so I'm clear, I have nothing but a stock setup, so I'm not looking for that kind of hook up. What I am looking for is someone who will put the stickers (or let me place them) on a metal plate mounted on the side of the license plate instead of the bumper. That's it. Want to take off the ones on the bumper courtesy BMW when I bought it two years ago and just have a shop who isn't going to give me a hard time about mounting it near the license plate (vehicle is a 328)

I usually get mine done at Hawaiian Tire & Auto Center in Aiea but the sticker plate next to the license plate is illegal. No gray area on that one. Must be attached to the bumper.

No matter where u go! Just get a bumper plate and mount on bottom right. That is legal and looks better IMO.

JS4KIX patched one of my tire with the nail in it. After 50miles later, that tire they patched is now leaking air.

Auto Source Hawaii: Though I know of one person on here that works there, and I appreciate knowing him, the dealer sucks. More appropriately placed on the owner.

If you would like your payoffs to take over two months then by all means go to Auto Source. They will not care if you are going on a family vacation and having to iron it out from overseas. I know there are more of you out there that have experienced this and can speak up about their service. After all the BS and incorrect info their paperwork was also messed up. It was obvious they gave less than a $hit about all my time and emails and did not bother to even see the issue until I walked into their business when I got back. I was still shorted and just dropped the issue.

Good luck dealing with the BS if you decide to buy there. Even if you get a limited warranty be prepared to jump through hoops to get anything actually fixed. After my last purchase there I called and was told that the guy that sold me the car no longer wanted to talk to me after one of the angel eyes did not work the next day on my limited warranty. I ran through hoops for three weeks until it was finally handled. And who cares that I'm in the military and I need registration after a month to get on base anymore. They will not care about getting the title to the bank so I can get the registration.

Also be prepared for at least a 20% markup over what he paid for it.

I have one more shop for you later this week. It involves a body shop that sat on my car for two years. And then told me they wanted to increase the price on the work or I could just get it out of their way (with 5k worth of work to get it fixed from their half @ss start).

JS4KIX sucks. Scrapped the lip of my brand new powder coated rim then blamed the powder coat to be a bad quality. They didn't clamp the rim down tight enough and it was rotating while they are trying to mount the tire on.

The next time I had tire work, I went to rons. Rather pay twice as much and have it done perfectly.

last time I went to ron's they told me they no longer work on beemers and referred me to revolutions. Don't get me started on that place again. OMG I am getting so angry just thinking about all these shady businesses and that they still exist.

Did not have a good experience with Tina sterling. I made an appointment to see her and I had to wait more than an hour after I arrived because she was finishing up a sale.

When we did meet, I told her I was looking for a 3 series and my budget was around 30k and she tries to talk me into leasing a new 535.
