yes sir. precision oiled by robotics at the factory...you will be pleasantly surprised at how dry the packaging is...never over oiled.

I think I just ordered it? When I hit the Pay now button, it just took me to a pay pal screen that said try again. I did that and the site wouldn't do anything.

yes, I hope before I go to Bimmerfest. That is the only reason I am taking pre-orders as I expect to ship by month end.

Just want to double check...can overseas customers order the cleaning kit? I pre-ordered the filter and was going to purchase the cleaning and oil kit as well but noticed that the item is limited to US orders

it was interesting to see that although the helene may have better filtration as they are tested to ISO 5011 standards, there wasn't a noticeable difference in performance compared to stock filter from this test.

Helene doesn't throw around exaggerated gain numbers from what I have seen and heard, they just worry about keeping great filtration while improving airflow at the same time.

This news about the new test results is a little depressing because the Streamline filter is so expensive. I definitely would not have been as excited about my purchase had I heard it before I pre-ordered. 13hp is not huge but it is noticeable.

I'm bummed out about the results as well... not only did it not gain power... it LOST power!

You misread the data and the numbers the way they are presented isn't the right way to do it. I'm going to explain it soon.

Really? cause based on what I deciphered from the dyno (http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=137667 ) the baseline for all the dynos were 272hp & 295lb-ft torque, and with the filter it made 266hp & 292lb-ft... i do hope that i'm wrong though.

The numbers are just a result of the condition and the error in this type of testing. I know how to make it more useful to understand. Remember the first test is just as valid as the 2nd test so will look at what has changed and why.

exactly, although i don't discount the first test results, i don't understand why the difference in the two tests. looking forward to see your thoughts on what has changed and why.
