Good feedback.. The major thing we keep coming back to on his is the slow boost building, and the WGDCs.. on my 135 they are 32-42%, much lower than his 50-55%.. We tried a basic boost test with PVC caps in the charge pipe side, but it wasn't terribly productive due to my setup (small tank and regulator gauge that was basically useless below 20 psi). It felt like it wasn't leaking, but it wasn't very scientific, either.

Here is what I am comparing to, on my 135i.. MHD 93+FMIC 6.1 beta.. his was v5.3

We are both running just a few gallons of E85 due to ambient temps and to keep corrections down. But my log is from the spring when it was much cooler out

Thanks for the feedback! I do have TC disabled all the way, I'll make sure to enable gear for the next log I pull on here. I'll just have to figure out what to take out since I think I'm out of points to log. I'm running E85 because early last year I was having some timing correction issues. ~5gals of E85 fixed that problem pretty well so I've ran it ever since.

The wgdc is what has us worried. I had all the vac lines replaced not too long ago and we went through all my connections etc. a few weeks ago. We did a boost leakdown test but didn't have a good way to regulate the PSi so we don't know how high it went. I'll check the rear inlet, but I was suspicious of the solenoids being bad possibly.

Why don't you guys just swap solenoid a it takes 5 mins and save a ton of chasing your tail time if that's the issue

Holy crap, I literally can't believe neither of us didn't think to do that! I'll have to drive to his house tomorrow and steal his solenoids and see if it fixes my problem. Thanks man, I feel really stupid for not thinking to do that

blow off and charge pipes can be tough depending on charge pipe fitment..easy enough to check put stock charge pipe on reset adaptations and log..stage 1 is fine with stock setup don't need charge pipe or BOV..I run stage 2+ fmic on my girlfriends car it just has exhaust and fmic no dp's, charge pipe or intake..it leaves a little on the table but not bad in all reality

I had it stock a few months ago to get some warranty work done; it was literally throwing 30FF every single day that I drove it. I didn't have any time to look at it so I took it to the dealer; they replaced some large vac hose on the rear of the engine that they broke when they did a walnut blast a few days earlier. The wastegates definitely rattle on my car, but they swear up and down that they're not leaking enough to cause 30FF.

I forgot to update with my second log I posted; it's only 30FF'd once in the past ~3 weeks. I was on a trip last weekend and it threw 30FF when I was passing a semi. I power cycled and it didn't do it the rest of the trip. The only thing that changed was that we did the boost leak check and re-tightened all my hoses etc.

Car seems to have a challenge to reach boost target...

102 ron race gas
103 ron MHD v6.1 map
DCT
FBO etc etc
Procede in map0 (Clearcan etc off)

Boost solenoids or are my turbo's shot? Or could it be a boost leak? When boost is reached it seems to hold so, im doubting about a boost leak....
No Love? :-)

So, if I look at my last log, and do a calculation for bhp at one of the torque peaks (torque X rpm) / 5252, am I right in saying I'm pushing 500hp????

So last night It cooled off to about 83 degrees versus the triple digit days we're having. 3 new coils, 3 injectors and a walnut blast I ran the v6 e40 map. Fbo minus fmic. Have at it http://www.datazap.me/u/d8rknight/e4...ta=4-5-9-14-23

Well we swapped solenoids and same behaviour. I'm thinking at this point my turbos are suspect.

You can insert your log into virtual dyno and estimate hp and tq. Make sure all of your parameters are correct such as weight and wheel size, etc.

what is the lowest MHD reading that's still okay on the HPFP aka rail pressure? I've read 1000 and also 1500...I saw one of my logs hit 870 and put a little bit more 91 octane in her, which bumped it up to a low of 1300. I just want to make sure I run as much e85 as possible without going into the red on my HPFP.

Ideally you want to stay over 1500, I believe thats the min. But post up some logs. My car read 700 something once, a year ago. Ever since then its always been over 1800 around 6K rpm

Trying to figure out if I have a boost leak or if my turbos are dying slowly (I think they're the cause of my intermittent smoking). Mods in my signature.

Running E30 on stock LPFP, MHD 95oct Stage2+FMIC flash

http://datazap.me/u/madman2/e30-124t...og=0&data=4-24

WGDC seems normal but I'm constantly under target. LPFP pressure drops below 60psi too, that could have something to do with it. TIA
