How are these holding up? Planning to order a set this week.

Also, maybe someone here will know, I can't code my angel eyes to be on as driving lights because I have an 06. I want to order the harness to do this. This will work with these headlights right? It's just figuring out wiring?

Yea, something to do with FRM1 not supporting it. I have DRL but it's only the low beams. FRM1 cannot do AE as DRL from what I understand.

Subbed.

Interested to see if the harness mentioned above allows angel eye daytime running lights in an 06 E90.

I would love LCI tails but since i have an e90 I have to do the trunk as well. So right now I'll stick with the harness and hopefully get these working.

I'll give an update for sure but don't expect it for at least a month.

No problem; I haven't started tearing mine apart yet.

Just hit back when you have an update.

I've read other threads with difficulties (namely Ruddigger's), have you guys experienced any defects or downsides to these? I understand light output is bad so that doesn't count, and to my understanding this can be fixed with an HID kit (correct me if I'm wrong). Thanks!

I did replace the H7 low bulb with a Philips Diamond Vision bulb that I had, so once it gets dark outside, I'll see if it's tolerable without an HID conversion.

One connector didnt seem to go anywhere, what is this?
i think thats for auto leveling and adaptive features

That would be strange, since these are supposed to be for cars with halogens only, which dont have those features.

That and they don't have those features, I wonder what it's for. How are yours holding up? And what did you pay? I'm looking at $500 shipped

I got mine for $440 shipped. And mine came with two levelers: auto and manual, the seller said that it is for auto leveling which that harness connects to the auto leveler

I just left it hanging there. I think it has sticky tape on the back if you want to mount it.

Could you tell me which seller? Lowest in seeing it's $463 + $30 shipping. And I'm assuming rolling gears is a rebrand of Marsperformance headlights, on there site it says you can install the leveling motors in these lights.

Damn, I'm gonna have to get myself a set of these at some point. Sounds like I just need to make sure they are very well sealed before installing them. I hate having to tear the whole front end off to get these headlights off.
