No one has any issues yet, but with tune cars it just seems better that the car doesn't jerk into the next gear when it changes (less torque)...With that said it would seem to me that it is good for the transmission!

got the pnp yesterday, put it on with beta non-doomsday stage 1 map and heck yeah it feels much better than the v3 wires with traction nanny wire not installed. i think something was wrong with my v3 wires bcuz it felt boring, it makes boost but no raw power, i had it since bimmerfest, now im loving the pnp

my original v3 pnp felt that way... very boring... then i loaded the beta map released about a week ago... . aside from a pulsating exhaust tone... it's great.. much more like my V2 was... but smoother... not sure if my original v3 map load didn't go right or something.. no clue... it's good now though

(the exhaust tone... vishnu support called me back about it, and i will be setting up a time to meet with Dustin or someone in the next day or two probably so they can hear it...... )

Your original was likely a traction nanny enabled map. The newer maps without it feel stronger in 1st and 2nd.

Are most 91 octane people using the high boost or low boost map for daily driving (non doomsadyers)

mostly depends if your a 29.2 or earlier. The low boost map (doomsday is manditory for those with 29.2 that would like to keep their warranty) Otherwise its personal choice.

Vishnu exhaust and dual cones. I haven't had a chance to connect with dustin yet. Too busy. My fault, not his.

I just installed my V3 today, what a great tune!!!

I have one problem with stage 1 non-doomsday. The map switching seems out of control: my car starts with full boost map and after a while it goes to low boost. Using my remote mapswitch does not help to go back to full boost. Only restart of my car helps.

Any suggestions how I should avoide this issue? I want full power all the time please!

Remove the map switcher. The you have non-doomsday full power balls to the wall all the time.

There is a possibility the connection with the map switcher is open. If you want to be sure, jumper the red wire to the purple wire, in the switcher harness, and you will be on map 2.
