It's in cabo; let's all go there and get our cars and have a corona.

It should be in SD by tomorrow. I'll call the captain and tell him.

AIS radar signals for marinetraffic.com and shinemicro.com are terrible this morning. They are mostly catching ships in port and none of the ship traffic out at sea. So, from those web sites there is no news. Maybe sdslayer can see something on AISLive.

Oh man! It's soooooo close. I hope it's headed to PH, the AIS status does say "destination: Port Hueneme" with an ETA of today!

Yep, the port can talk with a deep voice. He was very matter of fact and quick to the point. Interesting that the ship is stopping at PH first. Let's hope BMW isn't really holding cars til Oct 13. I'll let you know as my dealer is about 10 to 20 miles from the port in Westlake Village.

Word is that they're not. A few people have already taken delivery from ships that unloaded on the east coast.

Where is Hojin?? Why isn't he on AIS??? It is very odd that he doesn't show up anywhere. Usually at this point, we can follow a ship all the way into one of the SoCal ports via shinemicro.

spn, from reading your prior posts, and from looking at tracking of other ships, it sure seems like tracking Hojin is like solving a mystery. She's difficult to find at every step -- no weather reporting, no website tracking (like Wallenius Logistics) etc. etc!

I think it is very odd that they are spending all the extra money (and fuel) taking that ship all the way up to PH when it is full of tons of cars when they could have lightened the load and dropped them off in SD and LB first. She could have stopped in SD days ago. Their port schedules must be tight and she must be having to give way to them.

For some reason, Hojin's AIS signal is messed up tonight. She's off, then on, then off AIS.

this picture makes it look like she did a u-turn for LA, but if you click on the arrows, there is a big time gap at the turn, so I am guessing this is where she came back on radar after dropping off at PH.
