ynadyr,

LOL.. I'll agree they are entertaining at times. I don't know what sort of chart shiv has posted in the past or whatever... but I can say I never posted one and still have no plans on doing so. I don't see the point... too much new stuff is just on the cusp of being released for the V4.

By the way, I'm not 100% in love with either tune.... I just don't like this unreliable information (and flat out untrue information in some cases) that gets posted on this forum as fact.

+1 for BT

If people just spend 10-20 min playing with BT they would appreciate the features, easy of uses and information it provides you with even for some one like me who's NOT a tuner

That is way out of date.... There are 20 JB3 customers in the 11s now!

There's a reason I've been so quiet lately. We just finished our smart and progressive nitrous controller with supplementary meth injection. Simple firmware update. Did preliminary testing at the track today. Only got 2 full runs in. Nearly 128mph traps running 3psi less boost without even spraying the whole run. Very cool datalogs to post up.

I also dyno testing last night. Picked up 75whp on the bottle.

Expect another thread soon.

Now please, back to your regularly scheduled programming...

Shiv

YES YES Thank god I held off getting a NOS kit....I was thinking you weren't going with NOS and then you did this to me with this post! I hope you tell us what kit to get also....I follow my tuner...what you got, I WANT!!!

I am confident your setup will have the utmost safety features of running NOS for our engines!!!

The GIAC is a great tuning option and I'll update the time and made in the USA information. Install time was taken from a couple customers regarding how long they waiting around. Maybe it varies?

Flashes are never diagnostically invisible unless they can be completely removed at home and ECU scrubbed before going to the dealer. That doesn't mean you'll always get caught but when the ECU knows the true boost values and has its source code changed I don't see how anyone can credibly say that is invisible.

Untruthful? Tell me who does business 100% truthful and with no marketing hype, and I'll probably show a company out of business..

Both sides have done it.. but no need to really start going after people just cause they use one tune or the other. It is the interwebs, and hard to tell expressions and intentions... that's what these smily thingy maggigies are for I guess

But sometimes it seems like you're really attacking people just for the opinion they have.. just saying.

Maybe I'm reading this wrong but isn't pcmike one of two people on this thread (Startupjunkie being the other) that has actually tried both tunes on his car? Funny how these people are the ones that get attacked by one certain camp when they voice their opinion. Which is considerably more educated that the opinions that others offer.

the endless debate; who attacks whom? Both sides are equally guilty, and you can figure that out even if "you, the person" have reading level of 2nd grade.

There're are no innocents in the tuner war here.. lol
Guilty until proven innocent; and more educated? because they support the procede? oh I get it ...

It's easy to attack people when you have little or no technical knowledge or fist-hand experience with both tunes. Seems that some people are more interested with stroking their own ego and keeping their bubble from popping that actually learning things. Stay away from these comparison threads if you want to remain ignorantly blissful about your tune.

Some people defend their tune like its a religion. And wish to remain completely oblivious to anything that threatens their beliefs. Amazing.

I love the way you put things, like you're some kinda of savior. Tell you the truth, I really do enjoy the technical discussions. I'm really new at this, it's no secret and I'm learning each day.

The part that really makes this useless is, there's a thread with almost 200 posts, and maybe 20 of those are really useful. The rest are ignorant blatant tune wars. Just because there's a different approach at doing things..

I get it, CAN data.... coming from Terry, yourself, Adrian.. makes sense. But to tell you the truth coming from a pcmike, scalbert however educated they may be. I don't really give a rats a$$ because they don't make the tune, they drive it, or not just how I drive mine.

I'm all for opinions, not blatant remarks or put downs of others just because you say the way you do it its better...
