Wow, thanks man!
First things first, I need to sell my truck. I just posted it on craigslist over the weekend. As soon as I get a commited buyer, I'm going to the dealership to put a deposit to get the production on my car started! Any advice on selling a car? (05 frontier nismo crew cab, 46xxx miles, clean title) |

Thanks, he got back to me pretty quick, but the lease price for a 328i coupe vs. a 335i coupe only differs by 80-85 dollars!!! and the only difference is Navi on the 328 vs. no navi on 335.
I thought it would much more of a difference. What kind of lease payments are typical for 328 coupes? 3yr/15k per year. The options I want are 6-speed, M-sport package, convenience package, and navigation. Last edited by sennett0r; 02-15-2011 at 08:07 PM.. |

Looking at a 2011 328ic, dealer gave me this for a price...does this sound good or bad?
Le Mans Blue black leather bamboo trim convenience package cold weather package M sport package premium package value package steptronic m steering wheel with paddles auto high beams nav sat radio harmon kardon smartphone integration bmw apps $58,250 $2500 down $3000 trade in waived the $700 security deposit $636 +tax I had originally picked the sport package but since BMW killed that option I am now forced to the M sport package. I had agreed to a price prior to the change at $57,025 $619 a month....think the dealer should eat the difference? |

I have a 640 lease payment with 5 down on a 335i. The MSRP was close to yours? 56,325 (BMW apps not included in price as it was unknown at the time). I knocked off 3,330 1,305 for A/T credit and landed on 51,690.
This is all before TTL

You should never put a down payment on a leased car. Wasted money if your car is totaled. Instead, think about using the down payment money to buy down the MF by doing MSD (multiple security deposit). J |

This is what I did with my old car (08 Infiniti G37). I came into the dealership to see what they will give me for my trade in + tax credit. This gives me the worst case scenario. I proceeded to place an order on my new BMW with assurance from the dealership that they will accept my trade in at the price in 8-10 weeks. In the meantime, i post my car on CL for a higher amount to see if I can beat the dealership offer (usually always way below market rate). I just sold my car a month ago over $1,500 dealer trade in. Hope this help you and gl with selling your car. |

I figure, I can wait and try to sell it for more (private party) but So far, I've listed it at 15k and no interest at all. So even if I do sell it for $14-14.5k, I don't think it would be worth the trouble for me for the extra $500 or $1000 since I don't hold the title in hand and would have to deal with the private party and my credit union to get it all taken care of. (Especially since it's really hard for me to even take an hour or two off during my work hours to take care of personal stuff.) |

a cap reduction is just another word for a down payment.
its not a fee

Hmm... so I'm confused with all this $0 down mess. Why am I having to fork up $3000?
Basically, I'm ok with paying a drive-off fee that includes 1st months payment and maybe some misc fees, but the drive-off for a 335i that I got a quote on (msrp of $52k) was ~$2200 while the drive-off for this 328i I spec'ed out is $3000. The CA I'm working with said that theres no special reason and to lower the drive-off, the monthly payment would increase. |
