we should have the owner of the RB turbos do a dyno pull at the same boost level to see where he stands.

I will make a run on Pump alone.. With the old plugs it made ~410 already.. Not a whole lot more on the table without going up in boost..

Just spoke with Shiv he is GAME on tuning next week.. So much was going on here i totally forgot the high boost runs were NO METH.. The line came off the way the customer had it installed and we heard whistling from it.. So not only did we have a small boost leak we had NO METH.. I think we will make some power during round #2.. stay tuned..

8 second evos and you visually see a meth line come off, hear a meth line come off, but tune anyway? Shoot, i hope round two goes alot better than round 1.

From 5500 to 7000 its more like 60+hp and on 450hp car its like 90hp on top.. Do you know what that looks like in car lengths thru 4 gears or 5 or 6 gears on the highway.. I dont know about you but for 2400 Ill take 5-6 car lengths over a similar modded 335.. Depends on how hardcore you are about being FASTER than the guy next to you.. Even look at the TQ @ 6500rpm.. thats ours is still at 350 and the stockers at 300..
Woh, I thought those dynos looked familiar. That was from earlier this summer to test out how well AutoTuning learns to racegas.. (Pretty well- it autotuned itself to 18.7psi) . It wasn't meant to be a comparison between Procede and JB...just didn't get a jpg of only the Procede runs.

FWIW, the baseline for this was 265/280.

I believe you will get more power, and also retain the great power and torque curve.

What I think many of us would like to see is a pure pump 93 withOUT Methanol. I'd much rather have a 420hp car with upgraded turbos on pump + 16psi compared to a car (above) that makes 420hp car on race gas + 19psi, squeezing the crap out of my stock turbos and borderline dangerous. To me, I'm more interested in having 420hp with much less stress than 480hp with pushing the efficiency of the turbos and fuel system. (I guess that's what different maps can be used for)

Either way, more results will speak for themselves, and more options the better!

We were on Race gas.. Once we found the meth line off we were ok still on race gas.. The car wasnt lean at all on top.. I just remembered though the higher boost pulls were no meth when shiv reminded me..

I think we can get close to 420 pump alone.. We were at 410 with old plugs.. Well see next week on straight 93 before we dump in race gas..

Jeeze, these guys deserve a fair chance...they will find a way to provide the power level we're looking for at the desired boost level and fueling.

I think you can tell a lot about a shop/person by who associates with them. If Vishnu feels good in tuning and, in a way, "partnering" with AWD on this project, that speaks loudly. He just came here today...with round 1 tuning sesh. Give em a break.

Thanks Brian.. We might not have a huge following in the BMW market just yet but we have built a flawless reputation in several other markets.. We work with ETS , AMS, Vishnu, and several other companies that are top notch.. I dont settle for anything less than perfection.. If i thought these #'s were weak as round 1 #'s i would have kept them too myself.. However i get excited when i see some results and they look to be going the right direction from what i can see so far..

Well if AMS deals with you, then you're good in my book. I've been a huge fan and supporter of AMS for years..as one of my good friends is their RL Time Attack racers. Great job those guys are performing.

I think we would also like to see a detailed breakdown of every single thing you do to these turbos. I didn't see-- did You bore it out at all? The competition has that all documented and it would be nice/important to compare equal levels of machining.

In order to stuff a large wheel in the turbo you must bore it out.. That the only way its possible.. Our Wheel is a 39.6mm Wheel.. You can see the front cover is thinner in order to stuff that wheel in there.. Thats about the safest size we could get in there without making the cover too thin.. The rear wheel is clipped as pictured.. We offer these for several other platforms including 996 and 997 porsches.. We know what will work and tested these before even releasing them.. They flow 32lbs / min which in theory if the engine and fuel could keep up would be good for roughly 640whp.. We know that isnt possible on the n54 at the moment of course..

Nice upgrade... now all we need are high lift cams, higher volume injectors and a better fuel pump.
