I'm sure after the first mold of this lip is made/sold, other vendors will see interest in this part and start eventually making their own. By then, it'll be cheaper, but for now, why don't you be unique and just push your luck a little with the FRP?

*EDIT* if you take a look at this image:

I think the silver car to the right of the one we're interested in has the Hartge lip.. personally I think it doesn't look as clean.

what will it take to get the price for ABS down to the $250 shipped? I'm 100% down for ABS. Haven't had experience with lips at all but there seems to be more against the fiberglass than for it

Hey guys, ABS is just way out, there is a reason some people charge 600$ for a lip of ABS...

Its just not cost effective for most people to do

FRP is what we will offer on it, maybe a CF version down the road.

Great point..did some looking around and there's no way I would ever pay that much just for a lip. Go ahead and count me in either way.

and what's the count at? Call me greedy, but can we get it shipped painted for the same $250 if we get a bigger list?

I'd rather have it painted myself rather than pre-painted and end up being screwed up cause of poor handling during shipping or mismatch in color.
