Hello guys, a lot of questions about the holes, We do the splitters based of the OEM splitters, and JUST LIKe THE ORIGINAL BMW SPLIITTERS they DO NOT come predrilled. The bumper is predrilled but not the splitters. This is a very common misconception, the OEM splitters are NOT predrilled. I'll see what I can do and maybe push to predrill them. The problem is that not everyone wants predrilled, and drilling them is very easy. I'll keep you all updated on this.

I'd be worried about chipping the paint if I drilled.. It'd be nice if they were drilled before being painted..

If you have to drill a hole, do you use a blowdryer or something to get the paint soft? I've never drilled into paint before.. Just curious..

Thanks! Then you can probably buy them both pre-drilled or not. We make our parts based off the OEM ones, the ones that we have do not have the holes pre-drilled, hence, we didn't make them pre-drilled. I will go to the dealer and buy a set of drilled ones to see if they are available

Again, it's all about you guys, if everyone wants them pre-drilled.....We'll do our absolute best

Thanks just4kickz

If you can't get them pre-drilled, at LEAST provide us with a template so we know where to drill the holes ourselves. It will be a real bitch to try to "guess" where the holes should be.

I would prefer pre-drilled splitters, but will settle for an accurate template.

There are several bolts under the bumper that can be used to secure the splitter if the holes are drilled. Without the holes drilled, you'd have to remove and discard the bolts, or drill your own holes.

I dunno; I might back outta this if the holes aren't drilled...

The bolts on the bumper are specifically for this, i went to the dealer and they told me that they come without the drilled holes, I could order them drilled but I would have to wait. The holes are very simple to make, VERY simple. This is something you can all do yourselves, we'll provide a format where the holes should go but they will not be pre-drilled. Too many people want them without the holes.

I'm quite wary about drilling freshly painted pieces. I'm honest with myself, an avid DIY'er I am not

I need these to be drilled...

I would prefer pre-drilled. I do not have easy access to t adrill (live in the city, no need) and it would be a PITA to have to do it separately.

In the picture, they appear to be the carbon fiber splitters that are pre-drilled. Is that the case for the ones you are making as well? It seems that everyone is talking about the painted ones you are making only.

Ok, we have confirmed with the BMW dealer and they confirmed that the OEM do not come pre-drilled from the factory. We were told that the reason was because not all pieces are exactly the same so they would rather avoid the risk of incorrect fitment.

You all know our fitment is guaranteed. The dealer told us that every vehicle is different so if they don't take the risk, we can't either. They even recommended us having installation done by the dealer, they said they could drill the holes at no additional charge if we wanted, but that they do not come pre-drilled.

If you do not feel comfortable installing these yourselves, I recommend having a body shop or professional install these for you. It shouldn't cost that much. Again, its just drilling a hole. This will guarantee a perfect fitment for YOUR car.

Installation instruction will be included, don't worry guys, it'll be great

They come with 3M adhesive, it is enough to hold them. If you only want the drill then you can remove the adhesive, it's very simple and will remove completely.

bavariansdom, my understanding is that its essential to secure it from below with the existing bolts/screws (those who've done the PMB/Lux/Brex DIY know what I'm talking about). The 3M is to ensure a nice tidy fit above around the lower bumper and by the fog lights. I don't think its an Either/Or thing.

Also if you 3M it on to the front bumper would you still have access to the screws/bolts/fasteners should you need to dismantle the front fender liner, lower trim and front bumper?
